On 12/01/2015 at 5:00 pm I visited the store in Grove City to purchase a no contact phone for my daughter. I already knew what product I wanted; I didnt want a contract because already have one. I picked out the AT&T Go-Phone proceeded to the Wireless desk to purchase and activate the phone. The sales rep had no clue what he was doing as he was in the "post sale" screen. He ha a manager help him several times with the activation of the phone. He told me that AT&T required my drivers license so I gave it, then he said I had to input my social security # so I did. I saw something about my credit report on the screen before he backed out of it and grabbed a manager. I asked that manager was my credit run he said "Oh no, he didnt get that far." My entire transaction took one hour. That night I received an email from the credit watch program I use and it said Best Buy had run my credit. Not only did I not authorize them to do so they had done it without my knowledge. When I contacted a manager the following day he pulled the transaction then told me he would look into it and called me back leaving a voicemail & apologizing that my credit was mistakenly pulled. Im still waiting for someone from corporate to call me back; and discuss what they plan to do to make this right. What a surprise no call to date!!! Dont shop here, youre not a person youre just a sale and if the mess up "oh well."

I was disappointed in the customer by the General Manager Paul on Saturday Aug 26, 2017 at Grove City location only! A sales rep was helping us look for a sound bar. My husband and I looked at several items. I ask if there was any open box items. Once we got over to the items the young man point out one comparable to the one he point out to us before. The ticket price was marked $147.00. The sale rep look at the ticket and stated that wasnt the right price it was completely the wrong ticket for this item. The ticket was for a Sony poduct. Not a Samsung. He would have to get this manager over to see if they could honor this price of $147.00? I stated it shouldnt be a problem to honor the price of the ticket on the box. It wasnt our fault that someone who works at Best Buy put the wrong ticket price on the box!!!! Once the General Manager Paul came over, he said he was clueless to how that happen, but he couldnt honor that price!!!! It had to be put on box by mistake!!!! Paul stated its was $191.00 and that only price he honor!!! We had a disagreement about the ticket price, for about 20mins about how Best Buy should honor the ticket price that was place on open box item in the open box area. Mistake that was made by their employees. Paul got nasty and said the item is $191.00 and that ALL I CANT DO FOR YOU!!!!

The customer solutions manager at this location openly challenged our statements about the quality of their service, or more accurately the lack there of. When we pointed out that the previous repair of our laptop was 200 dollars more than the initial cost of the laptop, her response was "so, its not like you paid for it" to which I replied, yes we did, 300 dollars for the warranty. When we asked if they would give a loaner while ours was being repaired, (the last geek squad repair took over 2 months!) she said absolutely not, but that we could go to another store with no restocking fee to buy a computer from them. I was shocked, and I am still shocked, this is the worst service I have ever seen, it was more like dealing with a "store solutions manager" all she wanted was to find what she could do to make our issue right for the store. Ive never been more disgusted with a store and I must insist that you never buy from best buy as everything they sell is available for less at microcenter and if you just simply dont like retail stores, you can use newegg or tigerdirect. any of those are great, just dont use this best buy.

The experience was terrific, me and my parents came in to get a replacement for a faulty phone we had just bought at another best buy elsewhere not a half an hour before hand and learned that what we were told at the previous one was incorrect, unsure if it was bad math or what, but our bill would have risen exponentially. The manager/general manager was great, he and some of the other staff helped us through the process of fixing the problem, upgraded us and to help make up for the bad experience with the other store gave us a few discounts and 3 bottles of Coke, one for each of us. Every one was very nice and tolerant and knew what they were doing. We left with all of our phones upgraded, a Ipod for my father some cases all for a very fair price. Next time i have to get some kind of tech im returning to this Best Buy

Usually go here for my tech items as I am used to swatting away the mostly incompetent sales associates. But this last time I had to ask (had to being the key words here) where the Zagg screen protectors were for the Samsung Galaxy Gear S watch. I was pointed , not taken to, the area where I would find them. After no luck hunting them down, my wife called the store we were standing in, as we could find no one who would help us again. The customer service desk transferred our call 3 times until we got someone from the phone department. They took the time to look in the system to see...they never carried those protectors! We were told where to find a product they didnt even carry. So all I can say is, good job to the person we finally got on the phone. But overall, a bad and mislead experience

I used to love Best Buy Its a big kid toy store! Its been a couple years since Iv been in. I was in the area so I figured I stop and get a few things. But.. First off The ink for my printer didnt even have it in stock! Its a very common printer Walmart usually had a whole rack full of them and cheaper! Second I needed a screen protector for my Iphone which I found for $60 however Im glad I didnt get it because down the street at the cell phone shop exact same one for $20 and they even put it on for me! I noticed everything at Best Buy is 10-50% more expensive now! Third and most irritating of all. The 45 mins I was there I was approached 9 times to ask if I needed help finding anything!! If I need help Ill ask for your help! OK? I wanted to scream!! Ill never go back to Best Buy agin!

Everything seem to go as planned, I made it clear to the sales clerk that I did not want to LEASE a phone, only to find out that in fact he did put me on a lease plan without my knowledge. Discovered it when Sprint sent my first bill. Im pretty pissed off after making it very clear that I wanted to pay cash for the cell phone, maybe I shouldnt have been so honest and told them this was my first phone. I tried to work things out with Best Buy so that I could keep the phone and again, they sounded very helpful and I thought this would be resolved over the phone. Never called back. Time to return before my 14 days is up, Thanks Sprint for sending my bill so early, otherwise I would be stuck with a contract I didnt agree too for the next 24 months.
