TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Worst service EVER! I will start by saying I am a plus size bride(18W) I e-mailed the salon(which they never did email me back) so I called and spoke to someone twice, about the availability of plus size sample dresses and was told they had a lot in stock mostly 18-22. They asked specificity what kind of dress style I was looking for and I told them Fit and Flare and assured me that they had a lot of these styles.( They didnt have ANY) Once I arrived, I went to check in, the girl who checked me in was friendly and was told me that Trudy would be helping on me. She is truly horrible, RUDE, no personality, and unhelpful. When she came over and introduced her self she looked at me and didnt even smile. When we started she took me to a rack of dresses all size 2-12. And told me to look though them, once I told her I was not interested in looking at dresses that I could not try on so she took me to the back of the store where they have a small rack of "plus size" dresses that are all A-line and look like they are straight from 1996! I pulled a couple of dresses myself she took me into a fitting room then asked me if I would need help putting them on....well DUH....they are not exactly easy to put on by yourself. There was another bride in front of the mirror, and apparently she was more important that I was because her family and their coats took up all the chairs and I had to walk out and around to a mirror that was meant to be used for head pieces. The thing that topped it off for me was them watching my disabled Mother stand there with her cane and heart monitor and never offering a chair. I would never go back there and I hope that other brides regardless of their size take my advise, you can find much better dresses and better service else were. I have never been treated this way and hope that no one else has to be treated this way.

First off they need to up date this site... They DO NOT DO ALTERATIONS. Secondly I am very upset at this... So I bout my dress throug them as one of the pop up salons, they had at one of the bridal shows. I love the dress was everything I wanted for a dress. Fit perfect and everything. It was until 6 months ago, that I found out that I had a medical problem with my adernal glands which made me lose a extreme about a weight. Went from a size 24 to a size 12. To the point that my dress was NOT ALTERABLE. I called and spoke to the owner, and also knowing the all sales are final. Any hep I got was her telling me I can pick out ar dress and BUY IT... (SO NOT ONLY AM i PAYING FOR MEDICAL BILLS I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANTHER DRESS?? THE REASON WHY WE GOT THE DRESS CUZ IT WAS A GOOD DEAL..Not a good deal if I have to pay for anther dress... all they want is more money. If I wanted to spend 1000 dollars on a dress I would have gone to a store and purcshed a dress that way. Not a good business move on her end. This customer service is not a good way to get business.. And no, i am not asking for a free dress, All i am asking for is way possibly exchange the dress for credit and buy a new through them... (might not happen(

I originally just stopped in on a Thursday after work to look around, because I didnt feel like I was ready to actually try on dresses yet (the wedding is still well over a year away). LuAnn was there and really spent a lot of time looking through dresses with me, because I had NO idea what style or type I would want. She was so patient and helpful, and I was very grateful for that! I ended up trying on a few and liking them. I went back the next Thursday and tried on more, and LuAnn was there again to help me. We then scheduled an appointment for Saturday, and when I was there she was ready with all of the dresses I had liked so far, so I could try them all on again to narrow down my choices. LuAnn was a FANTASTIC help to me, and really paid a lot of attention to my likes and dislikes throughout the process, and I ended up finding a dress that I absolutely LOVE.

My daughter and I went to a total of 6 bridal Boutiques and she tried on at least 30 dresses. We purchased a dress from a well known salon in the city where she lives and it was a nightmare. The dress had several flaws and the consultant was not helpful before or after the purchase. We scheduled an appointment at Lavender and they saved the day! LuAnn had an entire rack of dresses pulled and ready for my daughter to try . She gave us honest input and never once pushed for a sale. LuAnn spent a few hours with her and even had her put some of the dresses that she really liked on again before making any decisions.The salon is beautiful, the consultants are extremely knowledgeable,and helpful ,they offer a huge selection at affordable prices making the Lavender experience the best- Go there first!

I stopped over the weekend to look at veils. There were 4 sales associates standing at the desking just chatting. I paused just past the desk kinda just scanning the store. Not a single on of them said hello or asked how they could help us. There were also not other visable clients in the store at that time. So it was not like they were swamped to busy to help us out. For all they knew we could have been buying a dress that day. So my mother I and found the veils on our own. We had 2 more sale people pass us and never offered any help. Only time we were ever spoke to in the 20 mins we were in there was as we were walking out the store To me this shows extermely poor customer service! They were more interested socializing with one another than to help someone out.

I would recommend Lavender Bridal to any bride looking for one-on-one consultation and employees that truly care about you finding The Dress. They have a caring and attentive staff who select options and offer advice tailored to your specific needs and wants. I had previously gone to a big box store and I felt brushed off and as if I was just another bride in line for a dress. This is not the case at Lavender Bridal. You find unique dresses, a caring staff and all the small town charm that Dover, Ohio has to offer. The staff are truly one of the best group of women I worked with during my wedding. They are simply the best

I went to Lavenders Bridal yesterday with my son, Channing, who is 5 months. I went into the shop with a specific idea of what I wanted and that was that. I am sure most people who walk through the doors have that same perception. I was met by LuAnn, who helped me through my whole experience. She picked a few dresses that I would have NEVER thought that I would like, or in fact, try on. She helped me find the PERFECT dress for my reception. She gave me ideas, showed me pictures, helpful hints. I was amazed on the service that I was provided. I would def recommend this bridal shop. 5 stars!! :)
