I went into this store on 11/27/15 ("Black Friday"), because I had some Lord of the Rings figures that my mom (who lives in the area) had told me they said they were interested in purchasing. I walked into the store and walked up to the "Sell here" counter and was completely ignored, despite one of the 3 clerks walking right past me several times. There were three parties ahead of me at this time. I never even got the chance to ask if they would be interested, because nobody would even acknowledge my presence. I stood there about 5 minutes before I went back to the car and got out the box of figures and went back to the counter. I stood there another 10 minutes, during which time a family of 4 and one other person came in. Finally, one of the clerks told me that if I wanted to sell something, "Its going to be a long time," because "Its Black Friday and there are 10 people here buying." To be fair, there were 10 people, but 4 were one family, 2 were a couple, and 1 was my mother, who was browsing while waiting for me. If two clerks cant handle those sales while one helps me, then they dont deserve my business. I left and I wont be back.

Ive been shopping here since I was a child. Im gonna put that at around 1997 I think. The store has a great selection and great prices. If you join their mailing list, they regularly have email only specials ranging from Buy One Get One to sometimes 50% off from their used games. The staff are on point in helping you out as well as the owner of the store, Chad. Theyre a great bunch of people who love what they do and are always great to talk movies, games, and music with. Both stores are also starting to carry Magic: The Gathering merchandise as well as their Hard Rd. location running Friday Night Magic. This is seriously a great store and is a prime example as why you should buy local rather than corporate chains. Ive been shopping here for about 15+ years now and hope to continue shopping here for many years to come.

This is the worst game store I have ever been to! They tried to rip me off worse then I have ever seen! I brought in 266 Playstation games and they offered me $100! There was a ton of RPGS & action games. Just one of my RPGS was worth more then the price he gave for the whole lot! I understand a game store needing to make money but he was giving me a penny on most of the games. So I asked him where in the store is you penny game section is? The cheapest game I saw was $2 which 200% mark up that is crazy! Plus he gave me next to nothing on the RPGS! Just a really big waste of time, as it took 4 hours to come up with this insulting offer. I will never be going back to this game store again, and you shouldnt either!

VGMX is what a game store should be. Great prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Both new and old games available. This store is a nostalgia trip every time I walk in. Also great trade in value when you figure they need to make money as well. I ask a lot of questions and they are completely honest about what I need and dont need. They are not out just to make a sale, they actually make sure you are getting what you need. This place TRULY is as good as it gets! Awesome selection of the older games I grew up with and still love! Its a clean, organized shop with a lot to offer!

Just went to the store for the first time today. Was very impresed and is located in a reasonable place. They have a pretty good selection of games consoles and accessories and fair prices. Some of the games I couldnt find cheaper than eBay or game stop so that is a definate plus. They even have a large veriety for the old Nintendo systems. Hope they keep it running and keep their reasonable prices. Only expensive games were ones of high popularity and fairly new titles but not outrageous. Will definayely make this a must go in a time to get affordable titles.

Just called and asked if they had a game I was looking for. The only thing done right was answering the phone. After I told the guy what I was looking for he asked me to hold on while he checked I waited for 15 - 20 mins then kept saying hello hello and just heard him talking to someone in the back ground. I finally just hung up. Worst service ever. Wont come buy a game from here no matter how good the other ratings are. Im sure I called here before and the same thing happened. Good luck running your business you wont last much longer.

Compared to other local shops in the area I dont think really many can compare to VGMX. In my experience shopping there Ive never had any issues, in fact they have given me more trade-in value for my things that every other store more than 90% of the time, its great! It allows me to update my media collection that much easier! So far nothing has ever turned me away from wanting to do business with these guys, I love the store!

Walked in today to sell some games for cash. First time in the shop and looked around for a bit. Alot of things are over priced. Got my games looked at that i wanted to sell and the amount they give for games is a TOTAL RIPOFF. Nioh a ps4 game i tried to sell they told me $9!!!!! When i seen they was selling a copy for $45!!! Maybe this place is okay for other things but DO NOT SELL FOR CASH HERE.

VGMX is a great place to shop .they have almost everything you r looking for from new to old school like old records video games like atari some of the stuff there I have never seen or heard of , Toys, Cd,DVD ,Vhs ,and of course newer games,Consoles and assessories they even have arcade systems.Wow I was impressed,VGMX a great place to shop for the holidays

VGMX is miles beyond ANY other video game & or music store I have ever been to. They have the best selection & BEST staff ever, who want to help you and make you happy. You will never feel like just another customer. They always make you feel like you are the only reason they are there. VGMX is now the only store I will go to.

20th July, 2015 Went to VGMX to trade in some games and had a great experience! I talked to Max and he answered all my questions. Ive been here only a few times but each time the staff has been super friendly. Highly recommended instead of certain other chain gaming stores.

Great alternative to corporate-controlled Gamestop. Has slightly changed recently with the addition of Magic the Gathering gaming and a section dedicated to this tabletop card game. Great deals on DVDs and games. Narrowed down their "retro" gaming titles significantly.
