I will never go back to this store or any others in their chain. I bought a copy of Pokemon for the Game Boy Color. It had the box which was cool but it was in terrible condition. They still wanted top eBay prices for it. I got it with trade credit so I didnt mind the sticker shock. Pokemon games batteries are notorious for going bad from all the use. Which is what happened to my old copy. I made sure to double check with the manager (bald guy with a dog) that the battery worked. Not only did he say it worked he kept going on about how great the label looked (it looked like any other played copy, which will come into play later). I went home and the game did not save at all. I went back to do an exchange. When I went back the same bald guy w/ dog was there. He flipped out when I told him the game didnt work. He said I was lying and I was trying to cheat them. I had a suspicion he would try to pull something like this so I brought in my old copy of the game. I showed him that the labels were in the same condition and that the batteries in both did not work. He seriously told me how they were a mom and pop shop and made me look him in the eye to tell him I was not lying. After that he said I would have to wait a few days for their tech to do a proper job at switching the batteries. I picked the game up at their N. High location and the guy their was a pretentious dbag trying to justify why they charge so much more for games than what you can get them on eBay. I got my game. I am through with them and you should be to. If you want to get rare video games and not be treated terribly go to Warp Zone, Capital Games, or Game On.

Im not an avid gamer as I used to be and most of my shopping is done online these days. However, every experience Ive had at this location has been great and is the reason I continue to shop at a brick and mortar gaming store as opposed to making online purchases. Whenever this is a big title coming out I will more than likely buy it here just to support these types of stores. It retains the same experience I had as a teen going into GameCrazy: browsing, talking to staff, and the shopping experience. My personal experience with trade-ins have also been positive. More than often I get more than trading it in and most locations and the manager tries to give you the best deal he can. No other location has given me a better deal. As I mentioned, the few times I do come here a year have been great and I hope they continue what they are doing.

Pick Punch

Let me start this off with saying Ive shopped here for years, but lately, it has changed. I recently have run into many problems with buying non working products. Just lately I bought a guitar hero controller that was very beat up, but I still payed almost full price for it. I accepted the price, I payed cash for it and brought it home. When I connected it to my Xbox it didnt work. When I brought it back I got only store credit. Because of their broken product I have to use store credit. I will not be shopping here again, except to use my ill gotten gift card.

The manager with a mustache, is a complete douche bag. I skateboarded 4 miles to trade in madden 2012 and he told me over the phone he would pay me 28 dollars. when I arrived hours later he said he could only give me 20 dollars. then he proceeded to tell me that I needed to have proof of an email to receive the extra dollars. I told him that he miss lead me on the phone and then he told me to leave the store and go somewhere else. never going to store ever again.

Employees are incredible. Incredibly passionate about their craft and knowledgeable. I normally go to Amazon or eBay for games, but always wind up leaving here with something. Id recommend coming here before you check out any big box store. After reading some of the other reviews, I have advice for those who say theyre upset because they charge eBay / Amazon prices - buy from there instead of complaining about it online.

I bought 2 systems from them, the first was a used Wii and they didnt remove parental controls now my sons system cant use certain features. Then I bought another used xbox360 and they said the guarantee and test all used system for selling them which is a lie, my xbox360 wont play any games. Wasted 250 bucks on 2 gaming systems. Will never shop there again. Ill take my business to Game Stop

Great selection of games for many platforms, and helpful and friendly employees - which sometimes will negotiate prices. My complaint though is that I bought a copy of Pokémon Crystal to find out the game was corrupted. I was given an in-store credit gift card for my trouble, instead of receiving my cash back. Besides that, the place is great.

Randomly stumbled upon this one day and was informed on this. Went up and fell in love. There prices and trades are great and the staff is very helpful. The retro- next gen aspect is fantastic. Not alot of stores do it. However I live in Delaware so a small drive I just wish it was closer!

My first time there was a great one and is the reason for me returning. I was greeted upon entry, had a great conversation and verbal tour by the man behind the counter! It was fantastic, everything is well placed and PRICED!( MUCH better than other retro gaming stores Ive visited)

I have never had a poor experience at any of the locations. All the staff has not only been friendly, but also extremely helpful. They are all willing to go the extra mile to make sure you leave satisfied. The selection is as good as it gets in this area.

They might be open, they might not. You would think a mom and pop shop would want to be open Saturday morning. If they are open, great. If not, hopefully you didnt drive an hour to get here.

This is the most affordable game store in columbus. Greeting me by name, and always willing to make a deal. Bought my ps3 and numerous games and movies. Never had a complaint.
