Ive only been here a couple times and each time it was for one of their happy hour cocktails. The first time was a year or so ago, and I had an amazing Tom Collins. Then yesterday I returned and got their Smores cocktail. So GOOOD! Its a very classy presentation too. Flame roasted marshmallow rim on the glass with a delicious chocolate alcoholic drink that involves marshmallow flavored vodka. The presentation is beautiful. He shakes it with ice, then pours it into the glass right at your table. A+! I have been here before on a Sat morning and got a coffee of some sort. But the fact that I have no clear memory for it suggests that it was nothing remarkable - bad or good. Decor-wise, its really cute inside and has a nice view of Poplar Park, which particularly nice during the Christmas season because it looks right upon the Short North Christmas tree. I will say the cocktails here are not cheap. Generally cost $10 or $11. But during happy hour they are all $6! Happy hour runs 3 - 7 pm. Of course, it is a chocolate shop, and so they sell lots of pretty looking chocolates, but Ive never tried them. Nor have I really looked at their pricing, but my impression is that they are expensive.

Very Pretty looking chocolates, very attractive Mini Cake desserts. 5 Stars for originality..5 Stars for flavor and appearance of the candied chocolates. 5 Stars for the appearance of the mini Chocolate cakes. 3 stars for the interior of the cake and flavor. 2 stars for price. Very over-priced. Only because I live in Columbus Ohio and Boston (Newbury Street) and the cost to own or pay rent Plus paying employees is astronomical and there prices are lower. Price is the only critical point.

This is one of my favorite places in the entire city for a "second stop" after dinner, a gallery visit, theatre or any other event. Its the perfect sophisticated setting to chat & chill with friends over wine, cocktails or coffee--and what more in life does one need? Oh! Yes, chocolate. And they have exquisite options of that too. The location is ideal: right at the "beginning" of the Short North proper, as you cross over the Cap. In other words, in the middle of all the action!

Food: 4 Decor: 4 Service: 3 I dropped by here around 11am on a weekday. The place was empty, but the cabinets were full of chocolates. According to the guy there, the most popular ones are the Velvet Elvis, seasonal ones, and caramels. I opted for the Velvet Elvis, and it was indeed pretty good (45% cacao deep milk chocolate with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon = yum). Definitely a good place to drop by for a special treat/gift, and their selections are amazing.

This is chocolate.Ive been all over the world. Japan to Amsterdam...This is delicate luxurious chocolate. Extremely RICH RICH RICH! If you dont like rich indulgent chocolate this may not be for you. Stick to your Hersheys bar..But if you want a delectable treat, please have someone buy you these, or treat yourself.I am very grateful for my introduction to Le Chocoholique. WOW!Bye bye Sees candy! Dont let the door knob hit you, where the good lord split you!

The martinis were awesome! A bit pricey ~$12 outside happy hour, $6-7 during, but the best martinis Ive ever had. Highly recommend the smores. The desserts are tasty and rich. Chocolates are unique and original, ~ $1.50-2.0/each. Not all of them are as good as they sound though so choose wisely. Quaint and cute place to chill. Only downside is somewhat slow service.

I suppose I shouldve known by the name of the store that this would be a higher end chocolate boutique. I went in just trying to look for some buckeyes requested by a family member back home but wasnt successful. The chocolates though did look very pretty albeit a bit pricey. I appreciate the staff being friendly and helpful although I didnt make a purchase.

The chocolates were so delicious, and gorgeous! I wish I had more time to try one of the more fancy options/drinks. Great place to get a gift, just to treat yourself, or for a little date. The liquor-filled truffles are a lot of fun. My selections were packaged up in a nice little box with a ribbon tied around it expertly by the employee.

Elegant decor, a great place to relax while enjoying truly unique liquor based chocolates a mixed cocktail or a truly fantastic coffee, while taking in the sights of busy traffic in the heart of Short North just steps away from the convention center. My recommendation is the frozen salted Carmel late and a crown royal chocolate!

Good atmosphere, although it sometimes feels a little bit inauthentic. The cakes are really great!... although the chocolates are just ok in my opinion. Coffee drinks are just ok. The customer service is a little rough but I feel they are finally working on it. Gets four stars mainly for the cakes.

The tastiest chocolates I ever had! A friend told me about this place and so I went there and was subsequently BLOWN AWAY at the endless number of great flavors I could choose. I tried a few and then decided to buy one of all of them! I cant wait to tell me friends back home.

We stopped in for coffee and maybe a snack. Our Myan mocha and chocolate cake were both amazing. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. A great experience all around.

Excellent chocolates, less-than-average customer service. Hoping the latter is rectified before my next visit.
