I called Auto Palace about a truck that I was interested in and was told by Paul to fill out a Credit app online. I would have been driving down from Cleveland so I wanted to have everything in order before hand. I was interested in Auto Palace because they have very high reviews and advertise that they work with almost all types of credit and financial backgrounds. So after submitting the credit app, I got a call back from Paul later that morning. The call was very dark and pessimistic about my chances of being financed for any truck that I was interested in due to a chapter 7 bankruptcy that was discharged a year ago. After going back and forth with his moans and groans of no cosigner, and needing thousands of dollars down (after I already said I only had about $1000 to work with) Paul said he would see what he could do and get back to me. Fair enough but meanwhile, Im stuck in a rental car because my transmission went out a week ago. Needless to say, here we are 2 days later and I have yet to hear anything further from Paul, and I am the proud new owner of a 2012 Chevy Avalanche LTZ fully loaded that I financed through traditional bank financing at Graham Chevrolet in Mansfield with ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS regarding my credit/bankruptcy. The point is this; if you cant work with all types of credit situations and financial backgrounds, dont advertise that you do. Secondly, time is money and my money works at any dealer willing to do everything possible to get it. Thanks for your time.

Dear Mr.McFarland. My name is Paul and it looks like you had dealt with me in the past. Im sorry to hear that you werent happy with your requirements for an approval. To be absolutely clear, we do have 100% guaranteed approval rating, but it is not a buy-here pay-here type of deal. We provide an actual approval from an actual lending institution that will help you get out of a bad credit situation. You were approved, and we had discussed the terms of your approval which you were obviously not happy with. I did try to get you a better approval by advising to add a co-signer and decreasing your down-payment requirements, but that wasnt something you could do. In short, Auto Palace has done and delivered everything we had promised, the ball was figuratively in your court. The review seems as if you were just upset with the terms of your approval and not with Auto Palace. I apologize if I came off off-note or my tone of voice wasnt what it should have been, I will work on that. We are glad you were able to find a good fit for you at another location, but I dont believe your review is either warranted or fair. To any-one else who may be reading, we do work with open chapter bankruptcies, as well as repoes and foreclosures. Our staff has extensive experience helping people get through tough times in life. We will always offer a financial solution that will help you get out of what ever you may be in. Dont hesitate to try for your self.

I emailed in an offer simply to see if they were flexible on price if I had cash in hand versus financing. A quick write of my checkbook and I wouldve paid for the truck and left. I was responded to in an EXTREMELY childish and offensive manner. In my experience, any time an offer is made it is almost guaranteed you will negotiate back and forth quite a bit. The car was listed at $27,999 and I would have actually been willing to negotiate up to $25,000 or so, but instead was treated like an imbecile for attempting to start negotiating on a vehicle I surely wouldve ended up buying had I not been treated so horribly. And this was before I even stepped through the doors!!! How much worse would it have been had I walked in? Would they have treated me in such a way to my face? Ill never find out, because Ill take my $20,000+ cash offer elsewhere. Im not a total imbecile, and my father sold cars when he was younger, so I was taught how to negotiate with salesmen. Excuse me if I dont walk in like a blind sheep and take the sticker price at face value, I simply know better than to do so. Art should be ashamed of himself for his behavior and I plan to reach his supervisor some way or another and let them know how rudely I was treated. This is no way to treat a customer.

This is a reply on 2 negative reviews we just received from Jay and Cleanr6, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, I wouldnt leave bad review for just not liking the price of the vehicle because most of our trucks have a lot of upgrades and that may effect the price, we also do not use KBB and do use NADA and most of the time values are very different and would never lie about book values! We work very hard to provide best service we can and 100% guarantee credit approval but we do not guarantee approval on that exact vehicle you are looking for because that vehicle might not fit the banking program or you need more money down for it, but again we do very hard work to make sure you get what you looking for and if we couldnt get Jay approved with his credit situation for vehicle he wanted and down payment he had for it, it doesnt mean we are not working hard enough! We do appreciate everyones business and hope that we will never have unhappy customers!

We bought a Chrysler 300 Touring/Signature car from Auto Palace and are very happy! We were out of state purchasers and Art made our experience a very pleasant one...He went above and beyond to make sure Id be happy with the vehicle my husband was buying me for my birthday and thats exactly what I was, HAPPY. My husband was very impressed with Art and his wiliness to help us and the fact that he could have sold this vehicle a couple of times over while we waited out some bad weather, but didnt speaks volumes for his character. Its not always about the almighty dollar, but the purchasers happiness. Like I stated above, we were out of state purchasers, but my husband told Art that wed be back for our next vehicle purchase. We cant say enough about the exceptional service, clean inviting dealership, unbeatable prices and cleanliness of vehicles at this dealership! We went all over Ohio- Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland looking for a vehicle and the minute we sat in our new vehicle we knew it was the one! Most dealerships did not take the time to clean their vehicles, the Auto Palace detailed and truly cared about the look of the vehicles on their lot! The staff were very friendly and easy to work with- and have a great sense of humor! This was the first dealership of the many we traveled to in three weeks who really wanted to work with my family to get the best deal! My favorite part is we did not feel pressured or feel like the sales tactics were pushed on us! Thank you for making our car buying experience superior, and for our amazing new vehicle!
