The store:The layout, and arrangement of the store is well done. Some of the glass for the glass cases needs to be replaced because it is old and foggy and hinders your vision for the actual product they want to sell. Other than that solid atmosphere. The product: The video game connection is more about classic games instead of more recent games. Great for collectors and nostalgia. They do have newer games, but the selection didnt seem vast. You can go to any store for newer games. The old games are what make this store stand out. The staff: RJ, and Rob are great! I never dealt with the owner but I overheard him talking to other customers, and he was super nice and very helpful to them. He stood behind his product 100% and said if they werent satisfied to come right back in and he will make it right. They will work with you. They are very knowledgeable with their product, and are very friendly. This is important because I dont do business with any other type of sales person. The Prices: Fair. You can make deals, and they are more flexible than most stores. The more you buy, the more of a deal you get. Simple concept that works well. Also if you Compare Amazon prices they are very similar, and you dont have to worry about shipping costs! So there you have it. It is totally worth checking out, and we need stores like these to stick around so support your local game shop! Edit: Looks like the prices are starting to rise. Make sure to check ebay before buying from here.

This store, I want to like this store, but the employees have just been too damn rude over the years. As a kid my cousin and I loved this store because of its large selection of retro video games and cool stuff, but, they have a terrible business model where you have to HAVE AN ID AND BE AT LEAST 18 to purchase anything there. They would kick us out as kids because we couldnt buy anything, they just saw us as useless. I have been of age for a while now, so I decided to make a visit there recently and see what they were up to. Even if I was of age, I got a really bad vibe from the guy who was working there. He just seemed very rude and acted like I was wasting his time or something as I was purchasing a game. He asked "This is all youre gonna buy?" and I nodded my head and he just groaned as if I was asking too much of him. As for the variety of stuff they have, its great and if you collect retro video games, this place honestly is a good place to stop, my personal experience has just been terrible with them. Just expect lazy and rude employees who dont really seem to care so much about the customer. I will give the place an extra star for having such a cool store, sad to say they have employees who probably wouldnt do so well in any other customers service-oriented job other than there current job.

Whats the purpose of purchasing warranty for game console? I tried to return a chord that wasnt working anymore because of dog tripping over the chord. I still had to pay for another chord. I purchased a system in the past that was not able to read discs anymore and tried taking it back to get it fixed and they wanted me to pay for another system and said that this system was broke and cant be fixed. Whats the point of paying extra for warranty in the first place? Most of this happened in the past, but I never really understood the point of the warranty. Can someone please explain to me more of what the warranty covers and what the point of it is? I feel like I have lost most of my money by purchasing warranties hoping the equipment would last, but every time I brought it back and tried explaining the issue, Im told that they cant do anything about it because the equipment was damaged on purpose or something.

I would consider myself a regular at this store on the weekends and everything is fine. The games are priced well and there is a large selection of older games that you cant really find anywhere else in my area. And the service is good as well, not exceptional, but good. However I have put poor - fair for service because whenever I, on occasion, stop into the store on a weekday the service is deplorable and I feel as if I should wait until the weekends to peruse the selection. I have not caught his name yet, but it is always the same guy. He is on the computer most of the time and acts as if he is inconvenienced to help. I still like and recommend the store for its retro collection, but I will be visiting it less frequently.

I love classic gaming and this is the classic gaming location. They have an amazing selection of nostalgia gaming from Atari to the current games and systems. There are many hidden gems in this place, and it is AWESOME. The only downside is that there is one particular worker that lacks in customer service (kinda rude and acts as if he could care less about you), and I have been here numerous times and experienced this (hes got red hair, usually wears a hat, and is not fat, but he is not skinny either). The rest of the workers and the owner is friendly and extremely helpful!

If you want old classic toys, big funs is the place to go. Video Game Connection is the place for older video games. A huge selection of NES games and SNES games for fans of those systems. The prices on some games can be kind of high, but if you ask, they will double check prices and work with you. Like some of the reviewers mentioned, the service can be a bit touch and go depending on when you go. The whole staff is knowledgable, but I generally like to go on the weekends. Another great place to go if you want a trip down memory lane.

Prices were very comparable to sites like amazon and ebay. I got a seriously like new copy of super mario world that looks like it was recently taken out of its box for much less than the cheapest one on amazon. My only complaint is a lot of things are hard to look at, they are behind counters in glass cases and the 15 minute parking doesnt give you much time to figure out what you want, as their stock isnt online. Overall the prices beat Gamestop even for newer games, and the staff was much nicer than Gamestop.

If theres a game youre looking for, this place most likely has it. Being welcomed by a huge wall of games was just great, they have just an amazing selection there, and they offer plenty of boxes for most games you may be looking for as well. If you need a cable for a console, they most likely have it. They even have some import games there, including some arcade machines. If you love collecting video games, or are just looking for some games for an older system, this is the place.

Ill definitely shop here again. Not too many places in the area that offer such a large collection of classic games. Great staff. Only had one problem with an SNES cart I purchased and after they couldnt fix it, (the battery responsible for saving my files had leaked acid onto the actual carts board and chips. They replaced the battery and even attempted to clean and save the cart) they had no problem refunding my money. Definitely better than Buybacks or The Exchange.
