Great staff and store. I am an independent contractor new to the area (from NYC) and I felt very welcomed. Bob, the store manager, is a great example of how to operate a business. Ordering material is made simple in a personalized, friendly, and attentive way at this store. I tried the "Pro Desk" at Home Depot and was told [Home Depot] is short staffed and I can not be guaranteed my order will be pulled and ready for me. I also tried Home Depots online ordering and my order was cancelled, saying they were out of items I ordered, part of which was 2x4s, drywall, and joint compound! Sutton Hardware may not carry drywall but I highly recommend it for homeowners and contractors alike!

It seems misleading when you see " Industrial" in the name and really its still a hardware store that any homeowner could visit. This is my favorite hardware store ever. The staff are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and work hard to find a solution to every challenge. Its very convenient to park and stop in before or after a work day downtown and buy something, drop a window off for repair, or just to ask some advice. I cant say enough good things about Sutton.

When I worked in Cleveland and needed a tool, a fastener, some advice, this was the place to go to. Decent prices, convenient location, and great people. Ive been back in Boston for a few years now and Ive still not found a place that measures up to Sutton. Its wicked good.

Had a bad time on a road gig, very helpful staff, rented & bought a bunch of stuff that saved my butt. Even had socks & teeshirts,(left my gig bag in buffalo),good tool selection, wish they had a store in Buffalo. Recommended to all my road crews
