I called a couple days before they were getting the HTC Vive VR headset to demo, just to confirm I could try it on April 16th. They said yes. After driving an hour and a half to the store, and bringing several friends to show them as well, I walked up to see a crooked, home printed sign taped over the add for the HTC that said in Times New Roman font: "Demo begins tomorrow April 17th". I looked past the sign to see a Microsoft employee playing a game in VR , and all the other employees standing around laughing and watching (since they had no customers to attend to, cause their customers were all at the Apple store). When they noticed me, my wife, and two friends standing there dejected, they quickly said " oh sorry we have to calibrate it and set it up today". It looked to me like it was working just fine. Anyways my wife begged and explained how far we drove and planned our whole day around trying the Vive (which Ive been following for years in the news) but they turned us away, and proceeded to play with it themselves as if we werent there. I will never step foot in a Microsoft store for the rest of my life. I bet Bill Gates would be disappointed with the staff at this store. Its obvious they are desperate to attract at least SOMEONE to cross their threshold with a product that isnt even theres... its just a shame that it backfired and they got this bad review and my commitment to never return instead.

In contrast to the excellent service provided by Microsofts phone support, the Microsoft Store staff were rude, obstinate and refused to provide warranty support for Microsoft products. In spite of a common defect in Surface products being battery failure (and concomitant inability to backup or recover data because the device wont boot), the store staff refused to provide assistance in data recovery and in-house exchange which might prevent data loss. Instead the sole service they offered was to charge $350 to replace the defective battery in an under-warranty product. In contrast, Surface support will replace my under warranty product, covering shipping in both directions. I guess the store needs to justify the floor space by being extra unhelpful and charging added fees.

I scheduled an appointment to have one of their "professionals" show me how to add a gmail account to Outlook. Well, they couldnt figure it out. After a few minutes of not being successful, I was told it was a google/gmail problem and to "call google". I asked how I "call google". The worker got on the computer and looked around for 10 minutes and then told me he doesnt know. I asked if someone else could help me with this and he said nope. WOW, it was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive EVER had. If that was my profession I couldnt figure out how to add an email account like gmail to one of my companys products, Id be embarrassed. And The Microsoft Store should be too! Dont waste your time and energy going here!

I brought in my laptop, that I purchased from Amazon, because I was having trouble with Microsoft Office, as well as a handful of other bugs and updates. They cleaned it up, updated it and installed what it needed, free of charge. They were so friendly and helpful and as someone who is not computer savvy at all but needs a computer for work and school, they helped me understand what was going on. I was so pleased with my experience and wont hesitate to go back if needed and will most likely purchase my next computer from them.

Excellent Customer Service My Xbox One was having issues reading discs and the 1800 support wasnt helping saying it would be a month or so before I got my system back. My some lives the system and we bond while playing it. They swapped it out for me with a month left on my year warranty and offered me the 2 year extended warranty which I gladly did. They took great care of me and its an amazing store. Drove all the way from Columbus, Thanks Guys!

Took my surface pro in for a tune up. It now is almost impossible to use. Constantly loci up, knocks me off the internet and is now as slow as dial up from 20 years ago. Very unhappy after calling up with my concerns. I was told it was my internet provider. Same provider I had a week earlier when everything was fine. My wifes laptop works fine, my other computer works fine. Not sure why it is now my fault this laptop they serviced doesnt work.

I bought my computer at the Microsoft store over three years ago. At the time, they were helpful and not hard sale or pushy. I had a bit of trouble in February 16 with the migration to Windows 10. They willingly fixed the problem by updating and reloading the software. I had a different problem in November 16. Same solution, I got my computer back working perfectly. They are professional, efficient and dont blame the user for problems.

Had bought a brand new Xbox One from a different retailer, it had a power supply issue and wouldnt work, went in on a hunch, thinking maybe they could fix it on site. They ended up treating it as an exchange and gave me a brand new console off the shelf! Very nice and helpful staff despite a few little glitches with their system. Going back more often for Xbox help!

THREE separate times I have gone to get a Microsoft gift card and all THREE times they have messed up. This third time, they didnt verify the gift card so I have to go BACK to get it verified. The employees are very nice people and I always have wonderful service when Im there, but I always have to go back because of a mistake made on their part.

I have purchased multiple items for my Surface Pro 4. The staff is helpful and purchases were easy. I already knew what I wanted when I went to the store so that helped. The longest wait I had was for them to check stock to see if the item was available otherwise everything was good.

The staff was very helpful. They were able to answer all of my routine and semi-advanced questions, and when they didnt have the answers to my very advanced questions they didnt just make guesses but instead took a few minutes to research them. Very pleased with my experience.

They are great here. Spent over 3 weeks trying to get my surface fixed though the phone and just decided to come to the store. They had me in and out in 15 minutes and I am thoroughly pleased. Jake one of the tech was great.

Phone doesnt connect to anyone in the store, was put on hold for longer than 30 minutes and still connected to no one, got redirected to multiple extensions, all just to ask ONE QUESTION. Terrible

We were just passing buy but they had an area to try the Vive Virtual Reality for free for 15 minutes. That was a lot of fun and am thankful for the experience.
