Definitely tried to cheat me. I went to this store to purchase my iPhone 7 Plus in cash - I pay in full because if you use an "upgrade" and finance the phone over two years they charge a one-time "upgrade fee" of $30.00 on your next bill. To keep my monthly payment low and to avoid this fee, I was very clear that I wanted to pay for the phone outright. I spent just over $1000.00 on the phone and protective case... My next bill showed that I was hit with the $30.00 "one-time upgrade fee" AND they signed me up for the insurance that I specifaclly declined in store, at $11.00/month (if youve done your research you know phone insurance is a scam but that is a different issue). How did I get hit with an upgrade fee if I paid over $1000??? They financed exactly $1.00 of the cost of the phone over two years!!! Who would want to finance one dollar??? (Literally $0.04/billing cycle for 2 years triggered a $30 upgrade fee) Luckily a 90min phone call to Verizon (not this store) got this sorted out, but be warned, this store is definitely out to cheat you. (Their excuse was that they finance $1.00 to preserve the manufacturer warranty. I can tell you, as an attorney, the manufacturers warranty comes from Apple Inc. and attaches to the phone itself, no financing is required to keep it or to activate it.)

I usually shy away from phone shopping because I usually encountered long waits and impatience from the "Customer Service " reps....not this time; CARLIN HEATH went above and beyond with making sure I made the right phone choice and ensured the whole process of transferring my data etc was done efficiently. ...I work in the Hotel industry where service is key..This team has it! I cannot begin to tell you how incompetent this store is. Brittney tells my husband his phone cant be fixed, sells him a new one and a plan she says is the same but cheaper. Turns out the plan is actually more expensive and the phone just needed a new SIM card. So hes wasted half a day because of this girls crappy service skills and.......the manager of the store (Tiffany) still makes it seem like its my fault when I call to remedy the situation. Terrible store, miserable people that cant do their jobs. Smhh!
