The last week of December 2014- I had outstanding customer service in the gift dept. I wanted several place servings of Christmas dishes transferred from other stores to The Greene Von Maur, which was, Im sure very time consuming, the sales ladies were more than gracious to get them in for me. They were all on mark down so the commission they made on the order was not very much at all, but still were very helpful in getting the order in, packed so they arrived to my home all in excellent condition, and they were. Great team work from the gift dept. gals. Thank You So Much ladies! Also the same day, I had exceptional service from the handbag dept., I again wanted a Dooney & Bourke handbag that had been markdown and the young lady found it from another Von Maur (only one left in system) and she called right away and sent it to me. So happy with it! Outstanding service!

Best customer service! I was shopping for 2 formals, one for a dress rehearsal and one for my sons wedding. I am not use to formal dress and much prefer the gym but the customer service at Von Maur made me feel comfortable. I found both formal dresses there after shopping at 5-6 other stores before. The dresses were stunning! And reasonably priced, with free hemming. I felt elegant and confident wearing them both and they were both very comfortable. As Mother of the Groom, I was able to dance all evening, wearing flats, hidden by the long gown. Perfect dress. XSCAPE style XS6649 Simply Stunning. Thank you Von Maur, I will be back.

This place is extremely expensive but the stuff they sell here is of high quality. I bought a leather jacket bomber from them by Marc New York and the leather was real but it was very soft however. Its not something I would want to wear if I were to go camping. Most of the stuff they sell is something nice that you would only want to wear if you were going somewhere special or somewhere that wont ruin your cloths. If youre going to a fancy ball dance then shop here. If you are going to the woods for hiking, fishing, or camping go to walmart.

My first shopping experience at Von Maur was a return of Pendleton shirt that I received as a gift.My size was not in stock so I decided to look for something else. Met a salesman named Jeremy in mens area and he was very helpful and professional. Then roamed the store and ended up in your shoe department, was helped by Jay, the best shoe salesman I have ever encountered in my 55 years of shopping and was extremley satisfied with my experience. These men are excellent represenatives for Von Maur and need to be RECOGNIZED.

If you want assistance in a lovely environment with live piano music, this is the place. My biggest disappointment is that the Petite Womens Department was moved away from its original location and replaced with active wear. If I want active wear Ill go to a sporting goods store or Walmart, not Von Maur. Free alterations are a plus.

High quality service and products. The price is higher than most clothing stores which brings you the quality in product in service. When I was there having live music on a grand piano in the foyer was a plus. Very friendly employees were perusing the store keep shelves and rack clean, greeting, and always offering to help.

Our dining experience here was probably the best I have ever had. Wonderful people, fantastic food, and just a great overall experience. They really went above and beyond, to the point of catching us before we leave to give us a military discount which was briefly mentioned in conversation. 100% will be returning.

Expensive but highly professional, best place around for lingerie. Highly recommend the services of an associate named Nancy, who found perfectly fitting bras and checked me out in less than half an hour. I havent shopped in the other departments.
