Although The Greene seems to be the place to go for teens and twenties, and those trying to pretend their still in their teens or twenties, aside from a few restaurants and the theater, theres not much cloths shopping for real sized adults. All the clothing shops seem to be for ultra skinny people or children and the two larger stores that have clothes for real sized adults are so over priced that one wonders how they stay in business! Books and Company seems to be staffed with people off the street that know nothing about books as no one can ever find anything in that place. Van Maur is just an over priced department store with very poor quality products and snooty staff who look down at you like youre not worth their time. The only thing the Rave Cinemas has going for it is the IMAX but one can hardly tolerate sitting through a 2 to 3 hour IMAX movie in seats that the padding has broken down and arm rests that have no padding left to them at all! However, there are a few gems that stand out at The Greene like BDs, The Pub (Trivia Night is a blast!), The Cheesecake Factory, Bar Louie and be sure not to miss out on a visit to Mimis Cafe.

The Greene is wonderful. I worked there for almost 3 years, actually, and I still thoroughly enjoy the open atmosphere and the selection of places to shop - theres a large variety, so youll almost certainly find what you need... and then some. Same goes for all the places to eat. Parking can be a bear, especially on the weekends, and pedestrians run amok, sometimes crossing roads where they shouldnt... but so long as you drive slowly, everything is fine. Security is the BEST here. I always see one or two of them biking around, and they are so friendly and helpful! I have not once felt unsafe while working late, even when I walk to the parking garage. They have 24-hour positions and someone always watching the cameras for the garages. Also, $5.50 movies on Wednesday!!

This would have been a solid 3 stars if not for parking. Its a beautiful campus with all the trendy stores and conveniences shoppers and leisurely patrons could want, but EXCESSIVELY CROWDED. The other people are the biggest frustration and challenge for the Greene. The PUB is awesome, but always crowded, and be prepared to walk. Wherever you do find parking, youre in for a hike, so be careful of the number of items you purchase, and the weight of those items, because youll become a pack mule to get your items back to the car. There is also little security or authority to keep the unruly teens from interfering with legitimate shoppers, but if you can stomach the behavior and speech of this unguided youth, then youll find plenty to occupy your time with.

The Greene is a really big shopping center almost like an outdoor mall lots of shops kind of pricey it is free parking or so they say there is meter parking however the manager at the Cheesecake Factory said that its not a mandatory thing and that you dont have to feed the meter its there for a suggestion and Ive never seen a meter cops come around at all so that could actually be true they do have holiday functions and festivals right now there is a big Christmas tree in the middle of the Plaza in the summertime they have water fountains turned on where the kids can go out and play in the fountains they have concerts movies in the plaza its overall really nice. And there is above shopping housing

A up scale outdoor shopping area designed to attract trendy crowds. In the summer they have live music in the park area, which also has a large water fountain area that small ones can splash around in and have fun. A Cinemark movie theater, Von Maur are the anchor stores, while other botique stores fill in the gaps. Apple store came in as well as other great dining choices, such as EO Burger, Pies n Pints, Felmings Steak house, etc. This place is nice for a walk in the summer, but not so much fun in the winter.

Awesome place to hangout with friends. Fun shopping, food, movies and so on. They have seasonal festivals (Easter bunny, Santa, huge Christmas tree) and giveaways lottery. There are lots of parking available, both paid street parking and free open + shaded parking lots. Kids also enjoy playing on the water fountain. Every weekend evening of Summer theres a live concert. Lots of deals and discounts on stores. Evening are beautiful for a romantic walk with the street lights on. I just love the place.

The Greene is a great place to go on weekends or weekdays after work. There are lots of small shops and you can find almost anything here. The Greene is home to a wide variety of great places to grab a quick bite to eat while shopping. Theres also a movie theater in the Greene as well to catch a movie while there. The Greene is a clean, family friendly place and I recommended it for all ages and I will keep coming back for shopping and having a good time with friends and family.

Probably my favorite place to go in Dayton. For a lot reasons. One I am a huge Apple fan and they have one of three Ohio locations at the Greene. 2) I read a lot and they have one of the biggest bookstores in Dayton. I absolutely love Books&Co. 3) They have a Cheese Cake Factory. 4) They have THE BEST burger place Extra Ordinary aka EO Burger 5) It is a beautiful mall full of a lot of beautiful people. 6) If you like nice cars like me, you will a lot of them at the Greene.

I dont like the secular music were forced to listen to while trying to have a peaceful walk with family. Its very distracting and I have to cover my 4 year olds ears the while time because Im not interested in explaining explicit sex inuendos to her. Its a nice place to walk around I just wish the music and environment was more family friendly and safe for young ears and adults who arent interested in feeling like theyre at a club whole walking the sidewalks.

I generally avoid places with large crowds, and this includes The Greene. However, when I do go I usually have a good time. The central area of the property has a fountain where kids can play. And there are several good restaurants to choose from. Parking is definitely an issue, which will get worse once the new stores by the main road open, and sometimes trying to turn into the property from Indian Ripple takes 3 cycles of the traffic light.

An outdoor mall in the style thats de rigueur, this is a pretty massive and fairly upscale example--it even has the apartments hidden in there in case you want to live over a Forever 21. My main complaint about The Greene would be the parking. One wonders if these outdoor malls will eventually look and feel as worn down as the large indoor malls of the 70s do today but for right now, this mall is crowded, bustling, and very vibrant and clean.
