do you want to go to Atlantas show of the extremely wealthys way to do overpriced shopping, then come to phipps Plaza where the only thing that is in your budget is most likely the cup of water that you will need after hyperventilating when seeing the price tag of a simple t-shirt. A t-shirt that is upwards of a whole weeks paycheck and that is made from the same cotton Walmart uses and is nearly ripped in half because of the wear and tear artistically designed in the shirt which inevitably will end up causing the shirt to only be worn once or twice if your lucky before it rips in half and then maybe you might be able to use it as a high priced handkerchief. Despite all that Glitz and glamour of Phipps Plaza there is an upside to all of the gaudiness. The AMC Theatres located on the 4th floor or everything you would expect in a mall that is 4 its high-priced t-shirts slash handkerchief. They have fully automatic, reclinable lazy boys that will put you right to sleep unless you are in a high octane Thriller, preferably the Fast and the Furious 20 or 25 whichever one theyre on now

I cant review anything but the AMC movie theater, and the parking. The parking was difficult to come by. I had to make two passes before finding a spot. I dont consider it a bad thing, because that means that it is a popular place, as opposed to a place with most of the shops that had gone out of business. The AMC movie theater was really great. It had a lot of activity, and despite being so busy, the theater staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The theater has a couple of self-service ticket kiosks, and you also have the option to show your e-ticket for a very quick scan as you enter, and skip the box office line altogether. They have a bar which serves alcohol. There were many people who seemed to be enjoying themselves there. I had the best, first experience at a new theater here. Zero issues. I have made this my favorite theater, and will visit this location more than any other movie theater.

I am just coming back from consulate after getting NORI documents attested (2nd Jan 2015). I was there few minutes before 10am so was early in the que (there were only few people around that time). It only took less than half an hour to get the job done. All the staff members were extremely courteous and efficient. If you live around Atlanta (I drove 3 hours!) just visit in person, things seems to be efficient if you go there in person looking at all the negative comments here regarding inefficient telephone service. I hope they will fix this in future. But if you can go there in person rest assured your work will be done. If you are wondering, yes they have enough parking spots. Just try to be there around 10am. This mall has a very mature atmosphere and I could care less about any stuck-up or boujie people that I smell coming from any direction, because Im fabulous & they cannot take me. I shop here whenever I have some money to blow, but not every time because that would be overrated LOL! Security does a wonderful job and I am proud of them and hope they keep up the good work. P.S. - AMC moviegoers, PLEASE DONT GET TOO COMFORTABLE AT THE THEATERS!!! You think youre all that until you misplace your phone, wallet, purse, etc., especially late at night. Its your responsibility to look after your stuff and dont blame the mall for everything that you do.

This place has NOTHING on the GALLERIA in Houston. However, they do have some great luxury stores in here. Definitely not a place for the cheap or the average mall shopper. You never have to worry about an uncomfortable crowd here. The Nordstrom here just doesnt do it for me. They had the TopShop clothing here before Perimeter but their customer service is very lacking. TWIST which is located outside the mall is a great restaurant to try. The movie theater inside also is a fave of mine as they have the recliner seats and a nice bar upstairs.

Expensive, but they have a Belk, which offsets the high prices from the rest of the stores. I recently did a class at the Sur La Table in Phipps, a ravioli making workshop, and had the best time! It was the best experience in a cooking class that I have ever had. There is a diverse collection of stores and experiences at Phipps, so there is plenty to do for everyone in the family. I would recommend cooking classes at Sur La Table, Legoland, and the movie theatre. Also, if you like window shopping, the high-end stores are perfect for that.

Awesome Mall. However, security needs to tighten up on the gangs of teenage kids walking around in a group asking people for money using intimidation as a tactic. I was on the escalator going up when 4 big teenage boys came running down the escalator loud and rowdy asking everyone for money getting right in their face. I was scared someone would get knocked down in all of that chaos. This mall has definitely changed since I was a child. Some of it for the good and some of it for the not so good.

Phipps Plaza is by far the most upscale mall we have in Atlanta; this mall is defiantly a designer lover’s dream. This mall host a number of high end designer stores, and the layout of the mall is more of an upscale mansion with winding staircases and beautiful wood work. I absolutely love walking through Phipps Plaza to get to the movie theater! I dream of one day purchasing a high end designer bag, from this designer Mecca! You also are very likely to run into a celebrity or two in this mall!

Yes they have valet parking but not secured. Their attendant just gave the key of our vehicle to a stranger who asked for the key and the attendant gave it to him without verifying the ownership. The stranger drove away in no time and Atlanta Police Dept. couldt locate the vehicle. That means its gone forever. Be careful folks when you visit or parked there. Your favorite vehicle may not be there when you come back.

Recent Upgraded facelift and high end shops moved in to compete with Lenox Square across the street. Lovely shops, Legoland, AMC theater and a variety of restaurants. 3 Levels with ample self and valet parking. Be prepared for traffic. Across the street from Wieuca Baptist, near Atlanta Business Chronicle, American Express, Univision, Pulte Group, other businesses, hotels and finance options galore. Enjoy!

Phipps Plaza offers a wide variety of shops and activities. There are high end shops such as Versace and Tiffanys, and also more affordable shops for the average shoppers. Phipps plaza has several restaurants to choose from and also a theater. My personal favorite is Legoland which is located on the top floor of Phipps Plaza. If you have children and have never been it is a must-see!

The Mall of Georgia is one of the more aesthetically pleasing malls to which I have ever been. Has some decent restaurants...and pretty much all of the good national chain stores. My biggest complaint would be the number of annoying kiosk folks there...and most other malls. It gets tiresome. And because of that, and one other anonymous reason, I dont often frequent malls any more.
