There is no secret while we all enjoy the pricing afforded by a chain store in our small town we also are all very frustrated with the mgt and ownership of this business. Take for instance a Sun evening when families need a quick pick up of an item or two that was missed over the weekend for the upcoming work week. I spent 23 minutes in line for a single item while staff hides pretending to be stocking. If you think Im exaggerating go in through the week and anyone could literally walk out with anything they want! Most cases I have to yell for someone to come to the register, then more often then not, the staff argues who with each other about who is supposed to be on the register? One question, is there even a reason to have 2 registers? Staff is friendly but lazy and in most cases can be caught bs ing with friends in aisle ways, they have argued several times in front of me about who is covering the register since they all want to stock..Lol lazy and not managed. My opinion spend a dollar more next door if they carry the item and they will get you in and out! Go to any town activity a high school game a fund raiser, etc and everyone agrees. MGT has do something to correct, this is very frustrating!

The dollar General in Baltimore, Ohio is out of date and needs to be updated! I went there yesterday and it was the first store that I couldnt use my S8+ to pay for my stuff! Samsung pay is able to be used everywhere except apparently Dollar General! Never had problems anywhere. Another thing is this store doesnt have a lot of things others have which has made me almost avoid the store except every couple months! I rather go to Meijer 13 miles away and avoid Dollar General. Being a small town and only store prices are higher than even Meijer on a lot of things!

You know I never have any problems Gary and the girls are always ready to help me or anyone. I wanted rice and I didnt see it. Gary went back a got me a bag. I would like to see the store make a produce part have head lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers or maybe do lettuce already in a bag thats the only thing I can think of you all dont have. But I really LOVE DOLLAR GENERAL..

I go here a fair amount because other than the 2 gas stations, its the only place to get anything food/home related (ACE hardware stuff aside) without a 20 minute drive to the next town over. Its not always stocked well, and doesnt have any good variety either. But its cheaper than the gas stations, and has some really helpful supplies like diapers and cereal.
