In all honesty, this store changed my life. Over a year ago, I stepped inside, simply excited to see there was a comic book store closer to where I lived. I struck up a conversation with the owners of the store, and discovered the one, Joe, was actually an artist and was starting lessons. Of course, I was excited, but at the time I never thought of myself as an artist, I just enjoyed drawing from time to time. Now, Ive gained more confidence in my art than Ive ever thought I would, and am going into animation school, have made lifelong friends, have found a job that I love working there, and have overall became more confident and proud of who I am as a person, all thanks to this world that welcomed me in with open arms. I couldnt imagine my life without this store, and without the fantastic people who run it.
