80% of the clothes in my closet are from Clothes Mentor. When I go to the Twin Cities, I hit them all. If youre looking for the cheapest consignment store, this isnt your place. But I LOVE the selection and love the brands you can get here. My advice is to know your brands. I rarely buy anything that I could get on sale at Herbergers for less. But the selection of shoes is fantastic , designer handbags are great and if you like Colwater Creek, Eddie Bauer, NYDJ and Chicos - youll be thrilled with what you find here. Selling? Thats a different matter. They are extremely picky and I like that because when Im shopping, I know that I dont have to look for missing buttons or hidden flaws. I just wish theyd be truthful. They say that they dont take anything more than two year old. That is definitely NOT true. And they say that the price they offer you (to buy it) is half of their selling price. Hmmmm .... not so much. Ive checked.

Ive enjoyed shopping at Clothes Mentor for years. I also resell my designer fashion clothing to them for a fair price. Their selection varies but my favorite brand of ladies fashion Chicos, selection has always been very good. I would reccomend this resale store to anyone who enjoys high end designer fashion at a fraction of the department stores price. And is concientious enough to recycle their fashion through reselling to Clothes Mentor. A great shopping experience.

Better than Platos, but pretty expensive. Also offered me $8 for a $130 free people dress with the tag still on it, I would have takeno $20. Most things you can buy new for the same price, they park things up like 300%. I also brought 5 items in, waited in my car for an hour for the text saying they are done.. went back in and they said that no one checked them yet because they were put in the wrong pile. Ugh.

My daughter went to bring in some nice quality name brand clothes, she was looked up and down (wearing her work out clothes) and told they were not taking anything at this time, wouldnt even look at what she brought and the clothes were from my sister who models and very expensive. Would not even give this place 1 star but had to in order to write review.

I love this place, staff is helpful in every way. Clothing and accessories are always changing. They have an eye for what is in style. I shop here first before I go anywhere else. Also having them on the Gram helps you know what they just got in so you dont miss the items you have been looking for. I tell all of my friends to shop here.

Great selection and gently used clothes, they are very selective in what they buy and it shows because everything available to buy is pretty nice! Found some high end brands like Eileen Fisher. The staff are really friendly and helpful! Prices are reasonable.

Ive never sold clothes here, but I shop here a lot and love it! The staff are helpful, the selection of clothes is great, and they have a more professional variety of clothes than other used clothing stores, so I can buy stuff for work. Great prices too!
