Having know the owner, Jim Lamonda, of Atlantic Jewelry & Pawn for several years, it is with great pride I state how personable, professional and courteous he has always been. Atlantic Jewelry & Pawn is a small retail location along Kerr Street in Wilmington, North Carolina. Do not let the size fool you! If you seek the rare, unusual and/or hard to find item, THIS IS EXACTLY THE RIGHT PLACE TO BE! They offer many EXTRAS you might not expect including new metal detectors and they buy back pre-owned RETAIL GIFT CARDS.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this pawnshop. The owner was not only very friendly but extremely knowledgeable about jewelry. Although I didnt have anything to sell right then, he gave me ideas about selling my necklaces and earrings that I no longer wear. When I returned with my odds and ends I didnt think werwe worth anything, he offered me a good bit of money for what I thought was worthless. I recommend this shop, you will be treated very well.

I have never pawned anything but being short on this months rent led me here. The owner was friendly and informative. I felt like he was honest and gave me a great deal on a ring I didnt think would have a lot of monetary value. I wouldnt hesitate to return in the future, even if just to shop around his place. This pawn shop is truly a unique experience. Jim is very knowledgeable on all of the products he has. He has a wide collection of interesting items. Ive bought several pieces of jewelry there. I visited Atlantic Pawn Shop this morning because I had some pieces of jewelry to sell. I met with Jim, the owner who was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable about my jewelry , as am I, so I appreciated this fact and he was also. very fair and honest in his pricing of my items. Coming to a pawn shop, I had expected more of an impersonal approach. Boy was I surprised when I met the staff of Atlantic Jewelry and Pawn in Wilmington, NC. Great place! Lots of unique and very interesting items. Great customer service! This guy is VERY knowledgeable on many fronts. Friendly and very easy to deal with… they seem to be very fair and generous when pricing your items. Good overall experience. I definitely recommend this pawn shop!
