Went in to pawn depo off of Virginia Ave in Hagerstown today to just get a loan for my digital camera. I was approached by a heavy set woman who said hello and what can I do for you today. So I told her why I was there and showed her my camera. She then got on the computer to look up my camera. She then told me I was missing a charging cord and a cord for it to contact to a computer. I told her that when I bought my camera from kmart that it only came with the camera and a set of batteries, nothing else. She then told me that what I said was a lie and showed me what she was looking at on the computer. It was not the camera I had. So I told her this and she told me that I was wrong until I showed her that the camera didnt match. It was not until she looked at the numbers that she then said, how it isnt the same. So she then typed in something again and again had the wrong camera but it looked like mine. So I told her again it was not right. That was not my camera. She then argued with me again. Then after handing me back my camera and telling me to get out of her store and never come back. I then said I have other items on loan in this pawn. She then told me she didnt care, that I needed to leave and not come back. As she walks around the counter to get in front of me to argue more with me. I told her I will be back to get my other items back. She then told another woman behind the counter with a baby to call the cops because if I didnt leave she was going to beat me in my face. So I turned back to her and told her if she put her hands on me I would charge her and take this pawn shop to court for the way she is treating me. She then seen other people coming up to the pawn shop and told me that shes not going to put her hands on me because I am a lowlife. This woman is off her rocker. She then told me that I was going to be a rested and go to jail for doing what I did. I then made sure her customers could hear me when I told them to make sure she is looking up the right thing when you pawn something because right now this woman is going off because I wouldnt let her get away with what she is doing. I then told her that I will be talking to her boss when I see him in the shop again. So people if you have to use this pawn shop make sure the women in there doesnt work you over. I would give this review less then one star but I could not write anything unless I gave it a one star.

First off the owner and the staff, talk down to you. I asked the owner if he had a certain item I was looking for.. He said no, then I noticed him on the computer, he called me back over and said, yes, I can get it for you in 3 days and it will cost $250. I told him that I would think about it and get back to him. So I went on the internet, and found it on eBay for $150. Thats when I knew he had done the same thing, but was going to charge me an additional $100 On top of that, he bought an item of mine, for much less then I thought it was worth.Nevertheless I sold it to him.. A few days later I went back in, and saw it for sale, the price was 80% more then he gave me. Lastly, they have way too much Cowboys football merchandise!! Hello this is the east coast... PS It is obvious that the staff and their friends are the ones giving them 5 stars.. If your going to give a company 5 stars you are usually going to explain why.

Worst pawn shop the workers there dont know how to input serial numbers and like to tell you the price for the wrong thing and and you correct them they get mad and throw you out all the cops on you and talk to you like your a dog. Sorry lady this lowlife will not be stopping in your pawn shop anytime soon

They will be happy to buy your items for 5.00 and try to sell it for 100.00 or they will happily laugh in your face when they dont want an item and insult you then say dont insult their intelligence about motors when you try to explain to them that they never even looked at the motor themselves.

Horrible customer service. Everyone there is rude, high prices. Only had 42.50 in cash my total was 45.50. My card chip doesnt work and they just swiped and tried none stop. When I ask them to knock it down $3 so I could buy my items they said "sorry sweetheart nice try".

This is more of a flea market or overpriced yard sale than a pawn shop. Theyre trying to sell reproduction and knock-off items as vintage and authentic. Avoid this place!
