I have been going to the café for about the past week to do my school work. I was told by, I believe the store manager, that I could no longer stay there. I find this extremely rude especially because 1) I always buy something from the café at some point during the time I am there 2) I PAY the daily rate to use the wifi 3) I always keep to myself and never bother anyone. This to me is being very rude, especially since the café was in no way at all busy. I know for a fact that I am not the only person who goes into the café and sits down with a laptop for lengths of time. I picked there to go to because of the fact that the staff is usually nice, its quiet, and I can get my work done and also be left alone. I find that the way I was treated, was very rudely, and if I can not get this issue resolved, I will no longer be a customer or a supported of Books a Million in any way. I recommend that if you need a quiet place to get work, or school work done, DO NOT go to Books a Million! They will kick you out if you are there "too long" reguardless if you buy something from them and pay to use the wifi. I was very highly disappointed and upset!!

Books-A-Million is pretty much a ghetto Barnes & Noble. This one is really nice and has a decent selection of books. The one thing that drives me crazy about Books-A-Million is checking out there. The cashier is required to ask you if you want a membership and then they go into this ridiculous tirade about magazine subscriptions. The experience starts with buying a book and ends with getting hustled by a street vendor.

The workers here are awesome! If you are a frequent shopper or even just window shopping , they always will remember your face and know what stuff you like. They are also very funny and know how to put a smile on your face. This is personally my favorite hang out spot.

Chain store with a huge book selection. The coffee shop is decent and sometimes used as a meeting place for small groups, and they also stock a small selection of vinyl records and gifts. Theres a back entrance off Hotel Dr. that avoids the Wal-Mart traffic.

I like the book store but not their sale tactics. I was very disappointed by the way they were pushing the magazines subscriptions. Bad business practice... wont go back...will stick to Amazon and Wal-Mart for my books.

Good selection of books and magazines. I prefer to buy most of my books there rather than online. Not a fan of Smokin Joes Coffee, but thats just me.
