Buyer Beware! I purchased a book last night and when I went to read it today I discovered that a brown liquid had been spilled in the middle of the book damaging about 10 pages. Since this store has a coffee shop I am assuming that coffee was spilled in the book and then it was put back on the shelf for sale. I contacted the store and they agreed to replace the book if I would bring it back to the store. Unfortunately, I live about 2 hours from the store so returning it in the 14 day time period is not possible. I requested that they send a replacement for the $16 book. They refused so I contacted the home office retail customer support and again was told that the only option was to return the book to the store. Therefore, if you dont like paying full price for damaged goods stay away from Barnes and Noble.

With all the new technology (audio books, digital books, etc.) brick and mortar book stores are slowly going away. To me this is a shame because I still enjoy the feeling of picking up a real book and flipping real pages and reading words on real paper. For me book stores have always been a place to buy a magazine (something that we dont do with all the information we can find on the internet), get a coffee at the café and take a book for a little test drive. This Barnes & Noble is pretty huge with a great selection of new books as well as clearance priced older books (and plenty of non-book fun things as well) in a very open space. Personally I hope that Barnes & Noble stores like this one stick around because theres still something special for me about visiting a good book store.

I went on Friday to the cafe and it was extremely filthy with coffee cups and trash on the tables, crumbs and spilled coffee on the tables and floor. Last time I was I spoke to a lady about the decrepit condition of the cafe and how I appreciated her. Leaning the cafe but what is the point of cleaning when all the customers are gone. Theres no clean place to eat in the cafe. This store is going downhill. Anyways examples of poor customer service is when the lady proceeded to yell at me and become defensive when I told her about how the cafe was filthy a couple days ago. The bathroom was dirty with toilet paper on the seat and unflushed. The employees seem disgruntled and misanthropic. Even McDonalds has better service and is cleaner. I will never shop here again.

I came in looking for my favorite magazine that just released last week! An experience I look forward to each quarter. A magazine for me time. Not finding it on the shelf I looked around for help. Found none. No one at customer service desk for 10 minutes. I go up to the counter, man said they had it and waved me toward the magazine section. Ugh. Not finding it again, I track someone else down. Looked up on the computer told me if it wasnt out there they were out. It came out three days ago! (And its not that popular haha) Never once anyone helped me look or offered. My asking was a pain and inconvenience for the staff. I normally leave with armfuls to read. They lost a lot of business from me. Go to another book store.

I went in to find a book and was helped by an employee to the area where it was located. Very kind and friendly man. Upon checking out though, the cashier was very fidgety and nervous when i asked him for change for a 50. He reluctantly gave it to me and then told me to hold on so he could call the manager because store policy said they are not allowed to provide change! So the manager came and they told me to give the 2 twenties a 1 ten that i was already given as change and they gave me back the 50. Thats ridiculous. Store policy or not, the employees should be better trained so they dont mislead to customers and waste their time. The cashier was named James P.

The Barnes and Noble at Tysons Corner Center is a great place to relax. They have a lot books to choose from as well as a great magazine selection. There is also a Starbucks coffee inside the books store. They wont except Starbucks gift cards though for they are apart of Barnes and Noble. Also the Starbucks there are tables to sit at to read or talk with friends. There are not a lot of outlets to charge the phone is the only issue. Its a great place to find a great book get a cup of coffee or maybe study.

OK in terms of help from staff but beware of going to readings and signings here. The one with Caroline Kennedy was a disaster. You couldnt sit down and because people were standing, hardly anyone could see her. Add to that, someone was not careful about the microphone so we couldnt hear her either! What was the point? I ended up in an isle where I could hear but certainly not see anything. Very unplesant.

We stopped by seasons 52 last night for dinner. It was amazing. We had the prosciutto wrapped stuffed figs as an appetizer and they were phenomenal. My husband and I both haf the cedar plank salmon and it was also amazing. We shared the truffle mac and cheese. All the food was amazing. The service was wonderful. I would definently recommend.

I walked in and explored an amazing collection of books, everything was neatly organized and the staff was incredibly helpful upon request. There was also this stunning girl working at the register that made me forget the book I was buying and left me wanting to know her story. Would absolutely visit this place again.

This store continues to carry a decent collection of books. Unfortunately its always packed, the coffee isnt all that great, and there isnt ever enough seating if you want to read for a few minutes. The staff is normally friendly. Overall here it is better to get a book and be on your way than it is to sit and read.

This is a beautiful store with a great collection of books. I adore whoever is in charge of their social media. Everyone Ive encountered in-store has been kind of abrupt, but not to the point of disrespectful. Stationary and gift items are well-curated. Would love to attend an event here!

We had great help finding books at the Tysons Barnes and Noble for High School reading lists. A young man helped us order a copy of "The 15 Lives of Harry August" by Claire North. He also gave us suggestions from his readings including her latest novel. Extremely helpful!

Great location for a very large bookstore that is so hard to find these days. The coffee shop in the back (second floor) serves great coffee at a decent price. The books are usually, not always, well stocked and sorted.

Totally screwed up my Christmas by not putting my items on hold after they said they would and selling them to someone else. No more left! Wont shop there again.

Book selection is good, the staff is helpful and friendly, and theres enough room to walk down the aisles even when someone is sitting on the floor and reading.
