Mandy and Linda of An English Flower Cottage are absolutely amazing, not only for their beautiful flower arrangements but for their wedding planning skills too! By no means did my obstinate-DIY-self want a wedding planner, but the higher powers at be forced my hand and I am so grateful that they did, and that the shop was where we found ourselves soon after. They were well aware of my reservations and yet welcomed me as if I was their only bride to take care of. They always knew just the amount of control I needed and how to let me have it. Without them our wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful or well-orchestrated as it was. Their genuine warmth, care, and attention were overwhelming in the best way. Mandy and Linda were able to take what I envisioned, enhance it, and execute. We were in constant communication and they always made time for me, even around my crazy schedule. The final masterpiece was just breathtaking, and we could not have done it without them. I have even continued to make use of their services after the wedding and they have never let me down with the quality of their work, their responsiveness, and their genuine awesomeness. I absolutely highly recommend An English Flower Cottage whether for your floral or wedding planning needs, even if you’re a girl dead set on doing it herself – you will be so grateful for their help.

Our wedding last weekend at Lake Lure Inn was truly perfect because of Mandy and her team from An English Flower Cottage. They provided our flowers and decor and Mandy was our on-site coordinator for our rehearsal and the day off. First, planning with Mandy was so great, she has the best, most creative ideas, which was evident in our reception decor. It was even more beautiful than I had dreamed. Mandy makes you feel like youre her only bride and puts so much into creating every detail to perfection. Second, our flowers were amazing. Stunning. Its been a week and they are all still alive at my house! We received so many compliments on our decor and flowers. The ceremony site was breathtaking. Lastly, we couldnt have pulled it off with out Mandys on-site coordinating. She prepared us all at the rehearsal so professionally and efficiently, I never once stressed out about how it all would go the next day. Having Mandy at our reception was a HUGE stress relief. I can honestly say that I felt so certain she would take care of everything that I didnt worry at all while I was getting ready. All of our guests raved about how sweet she is and how perfect the whole wedding was. Mandy played a huge role in this. We cannot thank her and her team enough!!

An English Flower Cottage was the florist for my wedding and Mandy provided day-of coordination. As a graduate student, my budget was limited, but Mandy worked with me every step of the way. When I sat down with her to plan, she said first lets dream, then well get the price to where you need it. And thats exactly what she did. Mandy listened to everything I wanted, responded quickly to my many emails, answered all my questions, and in the end, I had flowers that I both loved and could afford (BTW, we started planning together only 4 months before the wedding date). When rain changed our ceremony location last minute, she and Linda redesigned arrangements and took charge with the venue to make it the best possible day for our guests. Everyone who met Mandy at our wedding was smitten by her sweetness and professionalism. I truly cannot say enough good things about An English Flower Cottage. Worth every penny, and then some.

Linda and Mandy from An English Flower Cottage were absolutely amazing. They honestly made our wedding day perfect with all of their little personal touches. From the flowers hanging from the shepherds hooks to mark our isles, to the flowers that were placed on the fireplace mantle behind our sweetheart table. The patience and love put into our amazing flowers were breathtaking. Its so easy to get caught up in all the details of planning a wedding but this was one aspect that I never had to worry about. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs floral arrangements and details of their wedding. They do so much more than flowers, they helped with some of our groomsmen tuxs, finding out cake baker etc. To them this is not a job but a passion and it is present in every flower placed, every candle lit, every conversation exchanged. Thank you so much Linda and Mandy for making our day absolutely magical.

The girls from An English Flower Cottage did all of the flowers for a wedding I planned in April 2012. Mandy is absolutely the sweetest vendor I have ever worked with. Shes one of those people you feel like you have known forever. She takes the time to get to know her clients and to capture the vision they have for their special event. We had countless phone conversations and emails until everything was just the way the Bride wanted and within budget. The flowers were all beyond gorgeous! From the outdoor ceremony site on Lake Lure to the beautiful reception at the Lake Lure Inn.......Mandys team nailed the vision. As an Event Planner, I would highly recommend An English Flower Cottage! They are a pleasure to work with and will create the floral arrangements you dream of.

Mandy was absolutely phenomenal as a wedding planner and florist! I would recommend her to anyone. From the first day we talked, she was already on Pinterest creating my personalized wedding board. We spent many late nights talking and planning the most memorable day of my life. She met with vendors and took care of everything. She created the most unbelievable floral arrangements for our wedding day. The way she handled everything on the wedding day made me feel so at ease, like I did not have to worry about a thing. Her whole team was absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!

Mandy and Linda did my flowers and day-of coordination for my wedding at Lake Lure in March of 2013 and they were wonderful! The flowers were so beautiful, I could not have asked for more. They also helped me to maintain my budget. I was really glad I had them to coordinate too, because everything went so smoothly and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. They were really great with my husbands elderly grandmother as well. Thank you! I would definitely recommend again and again.

First of all, she would not take the order without a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit and I found out that in our area that is highly unusual. Second, I gave her a budget and then spent months trying to negotiate with her to keep the wedding within budget. She was very poor at communication and had additional fees in the end and it was $250.00 over budget. I would not recommend them. The flowers were nice but definitely overpriced.

I just used An English Flower Cottage in May for my wedding. They were wonderful! Mandy and her staff are so friendly! When I got to the venue for our wedding I was so impressed by the arrangements they had done. They really went above and beyond to make sure our venue was beautiful! I got so many compliments on how gorgeous our flowers looked. I would definitely recommend. They were a pleasure to work with.
