The Kay Jewelers in the Augusta Mall has very bad customer service. I purchased two necklaces an a watch from them. My sales person Jordan was very nice. He told me that he was new in the business. However, he forgot to put a second necklace in my bag. I called back and asked for Jordan and he was off work. Claude picked up and belittled me by asking did I lose the necklace or give it away. He also hung up on me. I called back several times and he did not answer the phone. The very next day I called back and spoke with the store manager David that was very nice at first. He apologized and said that he was going to order me a necklace. The necklace was on sell for $20. My total purchase was $309. I spoke with David today and his whole attitude had changed about the situation. I was also told that I could not use my $100 gift certificate at the time of purchase a know a friend that did. They have lost a sale over $20. Im returning all merchandise. I told the store manager David and he said he doesnt care. He then said he was not going to order me the necklace. He put everything off on the home office. The watch was a Valentines Day gift for a friend. Sad to say its being returned. I refuse to spend my money in a place and be treated like crap.

The store at Four Seasons Town Ctr has one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Tried to make a purchase, they said it would have to get permission from home office to order and they would call us next day, 4 days later no call. Called store for update and they said they had ordered the product and would call us within 2 wks when it arrived. 3 wks later called store for update (2nd time no call as promised), the clerk who answered said she couldnt find the order and someone would call me back in 10 min. 1 hour later I called the store (3rd time no call back). The clerk who took care of us had such a snotty attitude. She said she would have not ordered it without deposit or payment. I explained that would have never been a problem but no one told us when we called. Instead of taking responsibility for dropping the ball she kept trying to put the blame back on the customer. Then she said the manager would call me. As of this writing I have yet to receive a call back. We went in person to the store to tell the mgr what we thought of their customer service and that we would NEVER do business there again! I guess in this economy Kay Jewelers does not care whether or not they make a sale.

The sales reps are rude and they dont have a friendly tone. My fiancé purchased an engagement ring for me. They sized they sized me for was a lil too big when I got the actual ring (8.0). When I went back the 2nd time nobody helped me get resized so I decided to go a half size smaller (7.5). I had to wait 2 weeks before I got my ring back and come to find out they didnt even size it to a 7.5. I got sized to a 7! My paperwork clearly said 7.5 though. All I got was apology after apology. I demanded to be sized so that I wont have this issue again. Come to find out my size wasnt a 7.5. It was the size just under 8, 7 3/4. Had to wait another 2 weeks for the ring to be resized again before it actually fit. Paid for a ring and couldnt wear it for a month. No one cared. Paid over $5,000 for that ring and wasnt treated right. I wish my fiancé never purchased anything from this store! S.B. The ring is beautiful! However I cant say that for the customer service.

BUYER BEWARE! Really displeased with this place. They sold my fiancé the wrong size ring and were completely unapologetic about it. Even after finding out that they sold him the wrong size the ladys response was "most men get the wrong size anyway and the woman has to come back and get fitted for her size." The key fact was that my fiancé did NOT request the wrong size. He requested a 9 and he was knowingly sold the stock ring which is a 6 3/4. And the fact that they even suggest buying the stock size is ridiculous because they dont resize in the store so people who purchase a ring will have to wait 2 weeks to wear it. This is the most inconsiderate jewelry store Ive ever known or heard about. If you want a special moment to be happy and memorable and pleasant dont let Kay Jewlers ruin it with their terrible sales and customer services. They dont care one bit about making your day special/happy.

Ive been in this store several times and always had a delightful experience with the Sales Representatives. Most recently, a ring I purchased about two months ago was damaged. I worked with a wonderful young man to have the ring fixed and re-sized as this would ensure that I received it before the holiday rush. Although this store is sometimes congested with people, they are top notch with handling customer needs and finding a piece of jewelry that best suits your style!

Terrible, working in Charlotte yesterday, went in that location to pay my bill and the computer is not working.. Today Im in Greensboro and had to be at work and the store didnt open at 10:00am and it is 10:30 and still not open. Will never purchase anything from here again...

The worst place ever to go!!!! The sales lady lied, made one of my precious moments in my life the Worst! She needs to be fired! Playing with other peoples lives. Do not waste your time or money in this place.... thats the best thing this place can offer!

I dont ever write reviews but this place its awful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They dont keep their word, suck at opening on time, horrible customer service etc, etc.
