My fiance and I had an amazing experience working with Keith and Sandra on my custom wedding band. My engagement ring is from the 1920s and has a unique edge. I knew we would have to have something custom made but we had been to a few places and didnt have any luck with other custom places so I was feeling a bit pessimistic about getting a band. I am so thrilled that we went to Wax before we gave up on our search. Keith created a wedding band that is above and beyond what I thought was possible! I highly recommend you go to Wax for your jewellery needs! I knew Wax was the right place as soon as I showed my ring to Keith. He made a few suggestions on how we could bring some of the design of the engagement ring into the wedding band and how to design the band so it would fit against my engagement ring. Keith was the first jeweller to really understand what I was looking for and was willing to make it happen. We had a diamond ring from my grandmother and Keith was able to incorporate the diamonds into my band which makes it extra special since those diamond are from her engagement ring. This was our first time having something custom made for us so we were unsure what to expect and were a bit nervous. Keith and Sandra made this a wonderful experience for us. Keith sketched my engagement ring and the band during our initial consultation. He also quoted a price range at the initial consultation and the final price was within that range. The best part of the process is being able to see and touch the wax prototype. We were able to see how it would fit with the engagement ring, how the set would look on my finger, the design elements and provide feedback so there were no unexpected surprises when we saw the final product.

Wax is an unbelievable local treasure. Keith Belles and Sandra Lawton are an incredibly talented team and I cannot be happier with their work. Their studio contains pieces from jewelry artists from around the world but most impressive are Keiths one-of-a-kind works. My husband and I knew that a ring from a store at the mall just would not do for our engagement. We had purchased some things from Wax before but we knew that Keith would help us create the perfect ring for us. We used a ring that was a gift from my father, had the gold melted down and diamonds incorporated into the work. Keith even helped us source and purchase an additional diamond to make it perfect. From the beginning to the end of the processes, he was attentive, professional, and through his craft, was able to create exactly what we wanted. We couldnt be happier and recommend Wax to all of our friends for jewelry gifts big and small.

He reset an opal and diamond -- given to me by my fiancé’s family -- in a beautiful and unusual setting, taking great care to understand my style and preferences. I came into the studio with specific ideas, but his were more interesting, and I love the result. When it comes to quality and attention to detail, Keith is meticulous. Hes an artist who will work the design until it feels right. My fiancé came in with me to pick up my ring, and a striking, two-toned mens wedding band caught his eye.
