Shopping at Henne for our wedding rings was the best experience of our wedding preparations so far! Henne showed us the personal attention, time, and personal service I always dreamed wed have when choosing our wedding bands. We came to Henne at the recommendation of a friend of a friend after not having much success finding what we were looking for at local jewelers. We live about 2 hours away from Henne, but the trip was well worth it. We had a pretty unique request for the engraving of our wedding rings -- a personal message in Elvish writing. Henne and the Lashbrook engravers worked closely with my fiance and me to make sure our rings were exactly what we wanted and within our budget. They kept us involved in every step of the process e-mailing or calling us to update us on the status of our rings or to give us other options. Our salesperson Meg took the time to sit down with us and show us rings to try on in a variety of makes, styles, and finishes until we found the ones we really wanted. She understood our unique vision for our rings and even found it as amusing as we did! Walking into Henne even the first time felt as though we were walking into the home of a friend because everyone was so welcoming and helpful.They even offered refreshments and chocolate coins while you shop! I was also impressed with their free Valet parking around the holidays. Henne staff and the companies they work with seem to understand that their business is not so much about the jewelry they sell, but more about the people to whom they are selling it! They truly understand the importance of personal attention, service, and attention to detail. Thank you Henne for being a shining example to all and for making our wedding ring shopping experience a dream come true! -- Go Steelers!

When I started looking for an engagement ring for my wife, a friend recommended Henne Jewelers. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I bought my wifes engagement ring, I loved the experience! The staff was extremely helpful and genuinely caring. In fact, they told me about their "To Have and to Hold" program. In the program, the Hennes will offer couples a financial incentive on a couples purchase if they commit to going through premarital counseling. They told me that, "Most people spend more time planning for their wedding day than they do for their married life." I couldnt agree more. My wife and I went through premarital counseling and it was extremely beneficial to us. We had such a great experience buying the engagement ring their that we also bought our wedding bands there. When we went in this time, co-owner, John Henne, handed me and my wife a book called, "Things I Wish I Knew Before I got Married" by Gary Chapman, to help us prepare even more. Now, I recommend Henne to everyone I know. They dont just care about making a sale, they care about the couple, and that made all the difference in the world to us. Finally, in addition to the excellent customer service described above, the jewelry that we purchased is of the highest quality and style. My wife was thrilled with the engagement ring I selected and we both love our wedding bands.

My girlfriend and I began looking at engagement rings in December - we agreed that while she wanted to be surprised, I also needed a bit of direction. We visited the four jewelry stores in one day - the first being Henne Jewelers. The staff at Henne was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. They understood that purchasing an engagement ring is an investment - emotionally and financially. The best part is that there was no pressure to buy anything. The next store we visited seemed uninterested in serving us and was unknowledgeable about their own products. The third store had kind service, but was unable/unwilling to accommodate our specific needs (we preferred conflict free diamonds). The Fourth store was a complete nightmare - high pressure, rude and uninformed. They actually tried to get us to buy on the spot. Needless to say, I went back to Henne for the ring. The staff at Hennes was 100% supportive throughout the process - always treating me with respect and kindness. My girlfriend is now my fiance - and Henne helped to make what I thought would be a gut-wrenching process, rather easy. I would recommend them to anyone.

When looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancee, Henne showed an unbeatable combination of service, quality, and professionalism. I tried a handful of other stores in the area, but Henne knew how to help me find the perfect ring I was looking for. My girlfriend had a particular style/setting in mind; one that is not so common. The salesperson, Nina, was so patient and willing to help me find the right diamond, band, and setting. My ring ended up needing some custom modifications to account for a different size, and the staff was so accommodating in the weeks that followed. When the ring arrived at the store I knew it would be perfect, and it ended up being just that :) I cant say enough about the service provided by all of the staff members and know that I will be returning for many Valentines, Christmass, and Birthdays to come. There is simply no excuse why you should not be going to Henne if you are looking for jewelry (especially engagement rings!)

Every time that I have been to Henne, I have been treated with so well. Whether Im in sweats or dressed in something nicer, they are always nice to me. When I first went in there, I wasnt even close to being engaged yet, and Meg sat down and showed me diamonds for two hours! I became so obsessed with this one piece that I would come in once a month for a year and a half and she sat down and showed it to me every time. I think most jewelry stores wouldve been annoyed at the second visit, but she was so sweet and patient every time. It paid off, because my husband ended up proposing with it! We both love them so much that we ended up buying all our wedding-related products and many of our gifts there. It is obvious that the Henne family has a huge passion for their business and their products. For what they offer, their prices are reasonable, and I feel that I can trust them, which is almost impossible to say about a jewelry store. I love them!!

Great experience working with Henne Jewelers in Shadyside! Everyone we interacted with there was welcoming and professional. We worked closely with Meg during our wedding band shopping. She was instrumental in helping us build my custom wedding band that fits perfectly with my estate engagement ring. I drew a photo of what we wanted and Meg was able to give us a stunning product--we can never thank you enough for your professionalism, friendliness, and expertise! We had one hiccup with the ring artist who manufactured the ring prior to us seeing/approving the design. Meg was so helpful, patient, and professional through the whole process (totally not her fault!). She communicated clearly with us as we fixed the ring to our specifications.
