I do not want to bash Costco in general but this particular store in greensboro is deplorable! I am a very regular customer here and have never had an issue with anything until i brought one of their mattresses and the stitches started to rip. I called the call center and the lady told me that i should be able to return it. So once when I was at the store i asked one of the employees who apparently was a manager who told me that i would have to call the manufacturers. Ok.. i said fine.. since i didnt have anything to do with the manufacturer and i brought the mattress from Costco I decided to call the store to confirm this was true. I talk to the Admin manager named Chris who told me that I didnt have to worry about anything and just bring the mattress back and we will either refund the money or exchange the mattress. No mention that it needed to be done in a certain time or anything. so i take the flipping mattress back to the store and this lady tells me that the mattress is stained and we cannot take it back. I tell her the staining isnt why i want to return it.. its tearing from the side and i show her the place where it was ripping apart. she looks at it and she is like oh it stained and its over 2 years so we cannot take it back and had the nerve to say that we had been jumping on it which is why it tore!!. I had called 3 people to find out if they would replace it! I know for a fact that a white friend of mine had returned a stained mattress for a new one and hers wasnt even torn so maybe the staff was just full of bigots! It just pissed me off that after confirming and calling over and over and after being told that I just have to bring it in.. they refuse to take it back! so i had to haul it all the way there and all the way back! I had half a mind to punch that lady in the face.. and to top all this Chris wouldnt even come out to talk to me and refused that he had ever spoken to me. I would not encourage anyone to buy anything expensive at this store, especially if you arent the right skin color!

I shopped at Costco Greensboro today February 2, 2016 around 6:30. I purchased 8 items and was charged for 9 items. In addition to other items I purchased I was charged for one more 24 count organic eggs. For the reason I do not understand I was charged twice 6.99 for 24 packs organic eggs. I found out about that after i checked my receipt. I went back and reported to the podium next to the cashier to a gentleman named Mr. Anthony C. and I got my money back for the 2nd 24 pack of organic eggs I was charged extra. While I was requesting a complaint form I was approached by an employee "manager"named Chris and he after listening my complaint at the customer service desk started telling me that was a mistake. I did not buy that explanation and expressed my opinion. I said it was wrong to charge twice for one item. Mr. Chris was unhappy that I caught that error. I was surprised by his unprofessional behavior and his request to me to return my membership card because I caught a "mistake". I would like the COSTCO higher management to check the charging machines accuracy and the cashiers knowledge and the customer service quality of some employees to avoid such incidents in the future. I advise the public (all shoppers) at this COSTCO to check and double check the receipts before they leave the store to avoid paying for items not purchased. What happened to me might happen to others. Please be aware. Did double charging happen to all shoppers today at that cashier register or all cash registers? I never expected this to happen at COSTCO.

Hours listed on the main page indicate that the W. Wendover Ave Greensboro NC locations hours are Sunday, 10am -6pm. No where is it listed on any of the pages that I could find does it list that the Pharmacy is closed on Sundays, Nowhere!!! Even when you search the Pharmacy locations pages, these hours are not listed as different.This is a huge issue when you are a new customer, moving your prescriptions from a competitor for the first time and you only have one location in town and your competitor has several. Convenience may out weigh price when you have to spend 20-30 mins. on a trip to Costco every trip. We were going to do some additional shopping today as well but bagged the idea because of this. The greeter very politely alerted me to this before I spent my time shopping. Webmaster needs to make this correction ASAP. Thanks Slight correction.....after spending more time than I should, I finally found another page that does list the Sunday hours. Way too much effort, when the main Google/Costco hours page shows it different. Even list the location with the 10-6 hours...no distinction between the Tire Center, Optical or Pharmacy. Corrected my rating to "Okay"

I like this costco. Took me a while to decide between joining here and Sams, which is right down the road. Sams is more walmart - type patronage, which I hate. Its worth the crowds and long lines when youre not dealing with rude, ghetto people. Even when the lines are long, Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes. The checkout lines always fly. And, like I said, the crowds are more civilized, so arent so bad. Ive never had a bad experience with the employees either. Part of my research when I was deciding where to join said they treat their employees better than most companies of this type and happy employees make for helpful employees. Not all of their products are top-quality, but most are. Trial and error there. Plus their cheap prices plus instant rebates make things an awesome deal! The kids (and we) love the sample people, who are all over the place, and thats a great thing when you havent tried a 12-pound bag of something youre thinking about buying. 4 stars because its so far away from home. TL-DR: Its crowded because its a good place and everybody wants in!

Stay away. I went with a friend who is a member and the only thing I deceided to get while I was there was a bottle of vitamins I saw and wanted to try. Let me tell you that I am of hispanic backround. When my friend was going to buy the product for me with a separate transaction, the cashier who by the way was an african american woman stated she could no do it bc it she hear us talkiking that the product was not for her but for me. Well I was a Cosco member for over 10 years and the only reason I am no now is bc we dont have a store in the city I live and I know that was nothing wrong with my friend trying to buy the product for me bc she is a member. It was very ovious the chashier did this racialy profyling me. I spoke with one of the supervisors did nothing to remediate the situation, my friend was so embarazed that they treat us like we were stealing something that she walked away. So it is done to every one or only to us bc we are hispanic? Glad I am no longer a member, no wonder why they are loosing membership
