Here is a tip: DONT GO HERE! The customer service is the worst I have ever seen anywhere. We had been frequent shoppers for the past 15 or so years. My father would go there twice a day to pick up lunch and dinner. As of now NO ONE of my family will ever be coming back. First my father wasnt allowed inside one night because of a wine tasting that for some reason was taking up the entire store. He was stopped at the door and told that he had to pay an entrance fee to even enter the building. After my father, not the manager that wasn’t allowing him inside, tried to compromise by saying he would only grab a chicken and leave he was shot down because they didn’t trust him. My father who has a taste in wine refined by 20+ years, who buys bottles for $20-40 was not allowed inside because they thought he would slip some of their cheap wines. Then there was last week with my mother who wanted to give Fresh Market another chance. She was in a terrible rush to meet a friend and was trying to check out. There was only one out of the many registers open and it was operated by an older cashier who for some odd reason was taking his time working slowly like he didn’t know he was the only cashier open and now had a line of 3-4 people waiting. At this point another cashier comes and stands behind a register and my mother walks over. The lady tells my mother it will be and minute so my mother walks back and re-takes her position in line, apologizing to the older lady behind her. The slow cashier saw this and when it came to my mothers turn he IGNORED her and lifted his arms up to the lady behind my mother as to service her. This was no accident by the rude cashier he was going to ignore my mother, who was now red faced with anger. The older lady said she wasnt in a rush and made some condescending remark towards foreigners (my mother has lived in the US for 22 years now!) so the rude cashier checked out my mother who left feeling like she was treated, like a pile of crap. This is only the two worst experiences we have had to endure at the Fresh Market, there had been many more. My family now happily shops at Earth Fare on 2965 Battleground Avenue. Who has friendly customer service and a much wider selection of items.

I live just behind this Fresh Market. I stopped in there one day to see if they had some Tilapia in their fresh fish case and they did. After getting the meat persons attention after 3-4 min I managed to get what I wanted. I enjoyed the Tilapia so much that I have been back every day or every other day since. My problem is this, NO ONE EVER SAYS HELLO! Cashiers seem to be all consumed with conversations with other associates. While standing at the seafood counter Ive seen managers, clerks, cashiers, meat associates, that said NOTHING to me!!! Ive looked at the deli counter for SEVERAL minutes, and NOTHING! The customer service here is SEVERELY lacking! Just today I passed a manager, an associate and the seafood associate spent several minutes talking to another associate while I waited for service. Then when I asked if they had anymore of what I was wanting he was like OMG I have to go check on this.(at least thats the interpretation I got from his expression) Ill ask my local Harris Teeter if they can duplicate the tilapia Parmesan just so I never have to go back here again!!!

This is a favorite grocery store of many people in Greensboro! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is top notch, while a little on the pricey side, however one can find all kinds of specialty foods from across Europe. The bakery is awesome with cakes and pastries that look like jewels, almost too good to eat. The meat seems to be wholesome and always fresh and the produce always looks good. They have also expanded their wine and beer selection in the past few months as well as the pharmacy department. Great place to go for specialty items or better produce.

Its okay. I am not sure about the remodel yet but they wisley left the meat and cheese counters alone. I am missing some of the items that I used to be able to get at Fresh Market but what can you do, times change and Fresh Market did too. As a aside this is one of the few stores that I go to in Greensboro where Android pay work every time. Since I am an Android user that is important to me.

The customer service at the meat and seafood departments at this and the Highwoods location is subpar. I usually call in advance to find out if a particular item is available. The call transfer to the either department is never picked up, hold time can exceed 10 min and/or the call is cycled back to the main line. Ive written to corporate and no reply. This is very disappointing.

This store is ok, its not all that it should be. A lot of the customers that shop here regularly are well to do people with bad manners an I guess the employees just take on the customers adittudes," the are people to." They had want I wanted, I got in an an out without any major problems so I will keep going back.

They have a wide variety of really great food. Their produce and meat is really fresh so it lasts much longer in my fridge than when I buy from other grocery stores. The cup cakes from fresh market are so amazing I always have to get at least one when I go!

They carry Red Boat fish sauce - the best fish sauce - this is the only place I know of that stocks it. Nice store. Prices can be high, so I pick up specialty items here for the most part. 4.5 , rounded up because of that sauce.

A wonderful grocery store with a great selection of produce, much of it organic. Never have had an unpleasant experience there and another register is opened if a long line is forming.

Wish the selection was a bit higher. Not that big of a building for a market. Parking lot is kind of a pain. Great selection of cheese and meats and produce. Friendly staff.

They have a great produce selection at a good cost. Their rosemary sea salt bread is my favorite! Be sure to check out the beer cave! Great selection of cold craft beers.

Good prices, great food. Check out could use some improvement, but the variety here is phenomenal. The pastries, the sushi, etc. I have to stop by when I am in the area.

Its a lovely environment in which to shop. Prices are hit or miss, depending on what you purchase, although prices have become more competitive in recent years.
