Its odd that stores affiliated with the same chain can be so different. I have been a Publix shopper for years and I noticed this when I lived in Jacksonville-there was one store that I avoided like the plague. The staff had a toxic attitude and the store was unclean. I noticed this store at Ashley Landing seems to be staffed by unhappy people. I hope its a coincidence, but I doubt it. What really disguted me was the deli clerk, who was chomping on a big wad of pink gum and drooling, I wanted to order some deli items, but not from her. I wound up going to the "Pig" nearby. What gets me is every time I go into this store I seem to get either an unfriendly cashier or manager. I often shop at the Publix on Trolley Road when I am working out of the Summerville office and that store is friendly-and I have never seen a dirty rest room.

Great store with great employees, but the customers are racist, must be just this part of town. Every time I go in this place, I try to be a friendly co-citizen by saying excuse me when I pass someone, or saying hello and smiling when I catch eye contact, but I never get it in return from white/Asian customers, amazing. Whats up with the racism in SC?!

Customer Svc is always outstanding & extremely helpful & courteous. The Deli staff are superb & patient. They know I LOVE the BH Craisinwich Chicken Salad & Croissantwich & always puts 1 of each aside for me. Cashiers are always patient & courteous & baggers always help me get groceries into my car. Fantastic prices esp w/BOGOs!

I love Publix at Ashley Landing. Its probably the nicest grocery store in the City of Charleston and the location at Ashley Landing is so convenient to all areas. The store is spotlessly clean and they have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. This is the ONLY place I will do my weekly grocery shopping!

I shop Publix constantly! Always helpful Staff and organized store. Before Hurricane Matthew the Store was very busy and they helped Customers with great respect! Love the BOGO deals!!! Edmond and the other Staff members are very helpful and personable! I always have the best time shopping here!!!

Customer service is great, they really do walk you to the item you are loking for when asked. Selection is good and responsive to local tastes. Staffing levels are usually above the levels seen at other grocery stores. Prices are at least competitive .
