Xavier the manager has no regard or a care in the world for his customers. This could be very long but Im gonna keep it simple. forgive my grammar I dont want to use the time to type correct grammar for this joke of a shop. woke up, flat tire. knew I couldnt go far with it. decided to go to sears big mistake 1. a tech jumped in my car with no plastic or paper down with his greasy clothes and boots. upon request he got out and put the paper and plastic in that he was supposed to at the start. 2. while I was waiting I was asked how to take my centercap off the wheel. They were having trouble 3. After they said they were done (like 90 minutes for 1 goddamn flat repair) my cousin came in and informed me that the wheel was scratched! 4. Sure enough the wheel and centercap were scratched. cap banged up wheel scratched 2 spots. 5. Sears immediately started denying responsibility, the wheels on all other sides were spotless. 6. the tech who scratched the wheel overheard us talking about the scratches and came out slinging a slur of insults and dropped a couple F Bombs in my direction. I did not yell, I did not curse back. I simply said "this isnt worth 25$ and asked to pay and leave. 7. After paying the assistant manager tried to withhold the QSE, the paper that would prove that the tech didnt do his job correctly. I had to ask for it. its like a receipt. I shouldnt have to ask for it 8. I came back talked to manager, he denied all responsibility 9. at this point I went over his head and went through all this drama wasting 20$ of gas going to Raleigh where they said they would have it repaired, it couldnt be repaired. 10. finally got them to purchase a new wheel and apparently I have to place my keys in their untrustworthy hands to install the wheel or Im not getting anything. AWFUL. never go here. I was cursed at and swindled!

First off I have to say that I have been working on cars for over 10 years, have taken auto tech classes in high school, so Im not oblivious to how a car works, which is what Sears seems to be counting on with their tire and auto care centers. Took a gamble since they were just around the corner, drove away an hour later with no meaningful work done on my vehicle. I came to have a nail removed and patched from one of my tires. After waiting almost an hour they took me out to the shop to try and tell me that because the tire was worn (they have about 7,000 miles left on them) they would not feel safe patching the tire and proceeded to try and sell me new tires. I told them that the tires have at least 4,000 miles left on them based on their own tread measurements and that they could put my nail tire back on and I will go somewhere else. Of course 15 minutes earlier annother angry customer had left yelling that she wasnt going to pay an extra $40 for an allignment when her car never pulls to either side. Buisiness as usual at Sears Tire Center.

Summary: It took nearly 2 hours to get a battery replaced in my car... So much for express battery service. I think I could have gotten this done faster had I gone to the dealership. I had no problems with the associate. He was nice and gave me quality information about tires for my van. However, even he couldnt manage to get the techs to work on my car. It appears they have different levels of techs and the higher techs dont/wont do battery replacements. Even the associate got the impression that the job was beneath them. Even in this economy, you still have folks that take their jobs for granted. Its truly sad. Anyway, this location will not see another penny from me. Ive contacted Sears via their surveys and gave them my feedback. Lets see if they call me back. Im going to write a letter and send it to their headquarters anyway. Lets see if they get back to me before I purchase tires in 30 days. Well see if Sears, as a company, appreciates their customers.

I had an outstanding experience with this Sears Auto location, after having less than stellar experiences with others in the past. My car conveniently chose to die in the parking lot. It was gushing oil and coolant from two leaks (one in a coolant hose and one in the oil housing unit). As a 22 year old woman, I could easily be taken advantage of by mechanics hoping to overcharge me, but that was not the case here. The staff of the auto center did everything they could to fix my car. They allowed me to see what they were doing and kept me informed every step of the way. Despite hours of labor, they didnt overcharge me for service when they could not fix my vehicle and they even waited with me after hours to make sure I was safe while my tow truck was arriving. I cannot say enough about Robert and the rest of the Sears Auto crew. They made a very hard night for me just a little bit easier.

I went in to this Sears store to try and find shoes for my 3 year old son on April 5th - after a whole day of riding around from store to store, failing to find the shoes that the boy wanted. Also with a 1 year old baby in tow. we finally wound up at the shoe department in Sears at Northgate. this young lady working there was so helpful - she measured the boys foot, sat with him through box after box of cartoon character shoes while I chased the toddler up and down the aisles. This sweet young lady was an angel for me and my kids that day. I dont know what Id have done or where else I would have gone, or if Id have finally just had a nervous breakdown. They are hiring the right people at Sears - its been a long, long time since Ive experienced someone working in a big retail store being this kind and attentive to the clientele. Bless you young lady, bless you Sears.

Sears does not have an actual customer service. Im using a Mac that I purchased last year and I couldnt get a chat going. I clicked and I clicked and nothing happened! Oh I went to the Northgate store. They didnt help me one bit. They told call call the number on the back of the card or call my bank. See I didnt know what recurrent bank check charge was.
