I absolutely love this store! I needed to get some framing done and a friend of mind recommended this Michaels store to me. I was lucky enough to visit during one of their great sale periods on frames. I purchased a great frame and placed a custom framing order as well. Their framing staff was very patient, helpful, and personable. It was my first time getting things custom framed, so it was great to get feedback on my ideas. Michaels had everything I needed, including matting and great frames. I was able to get a mat custom cut to suit my needs. I originally chose one color, but the framing specialist suggested a different one that turned out MUCH better. I get so many compliments on my frames and visitors always ask me who did it for me. I have several other items I need to get framed soon and definitely plan to get them done here.

The people working were unfriendly and not at all willing to help. They didnt properly wrap my glassware so it may break ok the way home. The slow cashier who didnt know what she was doing yelled at me because I didnt put my pin code into the machine fast enough (the machine had a glitch and gave no indication to put in a pin). She even scanned some of my items incorrectly, overcharging me for several items. I will say there was an employee with blue hair who was super sweet and friendly, though, so props to them! Maybe it was an off night. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and dock on an extra star just in case.

I go to this store at least twice a month and am always disappointed at the customer service. Once the checkout lady was eating Funyuns as she checked me out. I was totally disgusted as she licked her fingers prior to touching my change. I have also been rudely cut off and put on hold when trying to call the store. Too bad AC Moore is a little farther away.

I go to Micheals almost every week for various items. Whenever I need help finding an item the sales people do not seem to know where it is, or just point somewhere and tell me to go to another side of the store. This is the only store I can go to to get most of my supplies so it is very disappointing dealing with a crabby unfriendly staff.

Michaels is an OK craft store if youre just looking for basic things. If youre looking for anything highly specific or something of the higher-end variety this is probably not the place for you to go. The one thing I will say about this shopping center is sensitive near a Walmart the traffic can be a little bit congested.

If youre getting custom frames, ask for Ren (Lauren) and the service cant be beat. Ive had 16+ frames through her and theyve all received many compliments at parties.
