OK I can sum this up really easily, you get what you pay for. Now that said here are the best things to get here. Gas engine, they have predator engines and these are basically a Honda knock off. They are low cost and great quality. Gas water pump, we use ours for pumping sugar syrup and it does it great. Gloves, safety glasses, jumper cables, and much more. The things to stay away from are the hand tools, if you plan on really using them and putting some tork on them you are in for some busted knuckles. Screwdrivers strip wrenches slip and ratchets break. Now for a woman looking for some household tools you will be fine but dont run the sockets out to the car to rebuild the engine your going to have major problems. Other than that though there are barging galore here just carfull what you get get and why.

Not everyone needs a tool they use every day or builds things every day. I dont do fine carpentry. I build outdoor things. So save some money and look for their coupons. Durham has more "stuff" in stock than Raleigh, so worth the trip. YOU can call ahead and they will hold it for you, they answer the phone within 3 rings (Thanks, Alice)! Read reviews online or look at YouTube for information about their power tools, seems everyone wants to do a video. I watched and made me own decision but learned how to operate and install them. Nice! Did I mention the coupons? Get them! email. mail.

$8/hr knuckledraggers. Nothing is ever in stock. put items on the floor with 100 tags with the item to take up to the cashier. Subsequently, they are never in stock. why do they continue to put the pull tags on the item if it is out of stock. it would take those lazy, minimum wage, idiots 5 minutes to go thru the store and pull the tags of items out of stock. It is rare that my company will ever use any of the junk they sell, however, if a tool breaks and your tool rep is days away then -- it could work. But dont wast your time if you are a professional. This place sucks!

Great place to find cheap tools. Join their mailing list/club for coupons (especially for free stuff!). This is the best place to get tools for the average person. I would not recommend it for professionals. The tools are cheap because they wont stand up to continuous use. They are great for doing the occasional odd jobs at home. The staff is nice too. The location is a little odd, set back behind and too the far right of everything else in the shopping center. It is also convenient to have it located just off of I-85.

Staff is friendly. They have no control over the stock - what comes on the supply truck is what they get to put out. Tools are okay. Almost all made in China and not very durable. There are not many tools sold here that I would feel comfortable going into business for myself with, but if youre just going to use the product casually then its a good deal. Most of the electric tools last a few months to a year of semi hard use, but you can usually buy them for less than the battery or blade costs for a nicer tool.

The employees here are always really nice and helpful. Like any Harbor Freight / Northern Tool type store, you need to know whats worth buying here and what isnt. I have an angle grinder, a breaker bar, several socket sets, and a pipe wrench from these guys that have seen lots of heavy use and still work great. On the other hand, Ive bought plenty of tools here that broke or bent after a few uses. A quick online search will bring up several threads about whats good here and whats not.

Decent tools at great prices. Good return policy and cheap in-store replacement plans. Though not the best checkout system and the Inside Track Club membership requires that you have the actual coupon for every discount. Come prepared.

Its Harbor freight, they are OK for some stuff. Also, look out for deep potholes in and around this parking lot. Go VERY slow and careful. Ask me how I know....
