PLEASE READ. Single WORST car buying experience I have ever encountered. I came in with my fiancé highly interested a car, right off the bat the owner came off pushy. During the test drive he pressed for us to go to our bank at least seven times to pull cash before we even had chance to talk about the car fax. He made the drive very uncomfortable. Upon returning, he pressed for me to hand him cash or to hold my debit card in order to call his "partner" to approve our negotiated price. I did not feel comfortable so I stepped outside to call a friend to see what they said about the matter. After getting off the phone it was getting too close to 5pm, I would not have enough time to get cash. I went inside to inform the owner that I would need to sleep on it and will be returning in the morning with cash in hand, despite how he has been treating us. He began to yell and curse at us and demanded that we pay him $10 for gas. After telling him I would be back in the morning, he proceeded to tell me that my money was "no good", to fk off, and that he wanted to take my fiancé and I to the back of the building to "finish" the conversation. He then proceeded to leave his office and followed us to our car after we left, got in our faces, and threatened us despite the fact we calmly walked away. He taunted us calling us liars, that had no money at all to spend on a car, and for us to "go around back" with him. I have never felt this disrespected and wanted nothing more than to leave. I was scared and convinced that he was going to hurt my fiancé and I. Please, please take my advice, stay as far away from this place. They were all incredibly unprofessional and made the experience horrendous. His partner just happened to drive up and saw that he was yelling and hovering over me as I tried to get away. He simply laughed at us and continued to walk towards the building. I had 911 on my phone, thumb hovering over the call button. NO ONE should have to go through this for any car. The cars on the lot are not even worth it, they are not maintained despite his claims. Stay clear of this place and GOD BLESS.

Not even worth one star rating. Terrible experience! Please for the love of God, stay away from this place if you value your money, life and sanity. They are nothing but liars and cheats. Emory the second in command is a big liar. He is very condescending and crude. He will call you up and tell you that a car is available and when you ask questions, he will hang up. When you go to meet him, he will give you attitude. Jimmy, the owner too is a big liar. He will tell you sob stories about his daughter’s car that he has on display. They sold me a car (LEMON), which had many problems with it. The problems were all internal and very expensive to repair. I bet they also bribed the state inspector of the DMV to pass their lousy car. I ended up paying a whole lot more for repairing the car than what I paid for it. They are nothing but crooks and liars. Even when you go back and tell them about the problems that they claim never existed, Emory will try to deflect those complaints with some childish questions and act like they are not a big deal. I hope they get shut down and run out of business. Karma will get them one day and I hope they get what they deserve hundred fold. Don’t be fooled by these two and their sob stories and lies. Do your own research and go to a better place than these buy here pay here places which sell inexpensive cars, which are really LEMONS!

Not even worth one star rating. A few years ago I was looking for a car and the one I test drove didnt even have power steering fluid, you could hear the grinding when you turned the wheel. The so called sales man was a down right pushy obnoxious jerk and didnt like the fact that I wanted to call a few friends for their opinion he started bad mouthing me in front of other customers so I told him out LOUD what I thought of him and his junky cars, I even went as far as to ask potential customers if they thought they would like someone trying to shove a wreak down their throats. Im proud to say 2 customers took my advice and decided to look elsewhere . I was looking at other reviews for this crappy place and anybody who writes a good review either are friends with the owner so he doesnt sell them junky cars or they are so full of crap that its pouring out of their mouths , just look at the facts more bad reviews then good ones. A great car will sell itself it doesnt need some squirmy jerk to shove it down your throat

I bought two cars from Discount Auto Brokers. The first time I sat and spoke with the owner, Jimmy, I could quickly set him apart from most high-pressure salesman. You know the stereotypical salesman that make you want to hit the pavement running? Well, Jimmy is honest, a man of his word whom only asks for the same respect. While working on the paperwork for my first car, he held and played with my daughter, entertaining her about an hour until I drove my vehicle off the showroom floor. A couple years later, I traded my first car in for another. Jimmy maintains plenty of repeat business and its because he values his customers, and has high standards for the inventory he invests in. Discount Auto has a legacy of repeat customers. I firmly believe that a business is only as good as the person who runs it, so what does a thriving business of nearly 30-years say to others looking for a fair deal? I think it says allot about Jimmy and Discount Auto Brokers. - Thank you Jimmy. XOXO from Neo and baby Jessica

Alonzo is correct! Wish I would have read the review prior to doing business with Jimmy, the owner, and Discount Auto Brokers. We gave them 500 down on a car and was supposed to bring the other 1000.00 the following monday. They realized the car had safety issues. The car didnt have the original seats and the seats would not work. We were pleased about their honesty but they have refused to give us back the down payment. They were willing to put it toward another car though. We couldnt find anything we wanted or could afford on the lot. After months of back and forth we purchased from someone else and asked Jimmy for our 500 returned. He said we had a "verbal agreement" to purchase a car from him and would not return the money. We have since reported this and will be persuing every option available to us get our money back. I cant stress enough to stay away from this car dealer. You will be happy you did!

Bought a 2008 VW Passat In Aug 2015 for my son. He has put over 7000 miles on it. I check his oil its dirty. I called Jimmy at Discount Auto Brokers. Glad he put Valvoline synthetic oil in it. He gave me the oil change invoice. I went to the guys where he had the oil change they looked over the car said I got a great deal. It stills runs great. Has 176,000 miles and the oil Discount Auto Brokers used makes a motor last a long time. Jimmy said his man was sick the day I bought it. He got it ready for me used a vender down the street for the oil and a full tank of gas. Now I just bought a 2012 Toyota Corolla from Jimmy great condition I checked the oil and it was golden. No scratchs, one owner car for my Wife. Its been a week now she loves it. Quite ride. Smooth on Charlottes roads. Just wanted to say great cars. AAAAAA +++ will buy again CA Bowser
