We started, as usual,and ended with Low Country Motors. This is the fourth car my immediate family has purchased from Low Country, I write this review in hopes that it reaches out to people looking for a car that will fit their needs. I DID my research online and had a typed out list of what was available online . I would genuinely like to save the general public some of the time my father and and I wasted. We are planners and we deliberately planned to shop from from Hilton Head to Savannah, and through Beaufort. We started right around the corner at LCM and met the unbelievably calm, contained, and respectful, Shane. I will spare you the details but it went downhill from there. It was the last place that I felt validated and trusting in 8 hours. Once again, we ended up with the truck that fit our needs perfectly, for exactly the price that was on the car. It is not flashy. It is a humble building, with honest people that want to help you. From the "dealers" (Shane or Mike) to Kyle in finance, I promise you that you will not walk out feeling like customer number 162. Please spare yourself the feeling of being lied to and frustrated and left to sit at a small table in a cavernous building while " Tom " checks with his manager one more time at the "auto malls" in the area. Do what we didnt. Start with Low Country Motors...go have lunch, then go back.You will have the rest of the afternoon to play with your new car.

We began our love affair with Low Country Motors when my son and I purchased his first car there. Mike Cody treated him (age 19) like a preferred customer from the outset, patiently showing him every car he liked. My son decided on a great Audi - very clean, one-owner, and a great value. Recently, I purchased my third car in four years from Mike. Two of those were absolute necessity, after the previous vehicles were totaled in wrecks. Mike took great care of me (in my frazzled state of mind!). He allowed me to test drive a couple of vehicles for a few days, coaching me on the difference in value of each one, and pointing out various benefits that I hadnt noticed. I felt like he really wanted me to have the best car, the best deal and the best long-term value for ME. All three times, Kyle handled the paperwork, insurance and registration, which was quick and easy. When I had a fender bender a few weeks after one purchase, Shane ordered a new taillight, called me two days later when it was delivered, and installed it while I waited. I cant sing their praises enough. Mikes cars are always clean, solid and fairly priced (I know, because I did my research!). If a car has a minor issue, he tells you up front. I recommend Low Country Motors even to people who arent in the market for a new used vehicle! Were going to need one more vehicle in the next year, and I wont even consider going anywhere else to buy it.

I drove all the way here from Atlanta for a 2002 BMW M5, a rather hard car to find and even more so in good shape these days. Called and left a message over the weekend and got a call back from Shane first thing Monday morning. Told him I was very interested but that I wouldnt be able to make it down until the end of the week. He was very quick to answer any questions, and was very up front about the car and any issues it might have so that there werent any surprises once I was able to make it there. I got there on a Friday afternoon, was allowed to take the car to get it checked out even though I knew pretty much everything upfront. Got back to the dealership and signed the paperwork and drove it away. No hassles, no games, and no tricks. Living in Atlanta, going to a used car dealer is never more than a terrible experience. This was the exact opposite, it was an absolute pleasure doing business with Shane and the rest of Low Country Motors and I would have absolutely no reservation about making the five hour drive from Atlanta knowing full well what Id be getting once I got there. Couldnt be happier! Keep up the good work, you guys are fantastic!!!

My son was in an accident and as a result he was fine but his car was totaled. This put us in an unplanned situation. With a game plan we visited several dealerships in a 30 mile radius with Low Country Motors being our final stop on the way home. Shane greeted us before we even reached the door. He was welcoming and hospitable from the get go. I, not wanting to be looking for a car at all, immediately stated exactly what we were looking for and our 3 must haves. Shane took us around the lot educating us on select models he felt would fit the bill. We found exactly what we were looking for and MORE! Now we needed to get the money right and guess what? Kyle was able to meet our monthly budget without any trouble!!! Within 3 days we were able to return the rental and be back in business. Best car shopping experience hands down!!!! We have already recommended Low Country Motors to others and its only been 2 days!!!! Thank you Shane, Kyle and Mike!!!!

Having a 1979 MGB as a trade is to say the least ... challenging. I had heard all good things from neighbors and others that had gone to Low Country so I thought What the heck! and emailed them about my interest in a 2007 Mazda MX-5 they had on the lot fully expecting little if any interest in my terms. I got a call back from Mike. From the very beginning he was honest and set my expectations. I drove over and he looked at my car and asked for a few hours to make a few calls and check my credit. He called back as he said he would and I went over to discuss terms. He offered me a fair price on my trade and I drove off with a beautiful car and a payment I wanted. I would absolutely recommend Low Country Motors -- Fair, Honest, No Pressure.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is the second vehicle Ive purchased from Low Country Motors. I went first to the huge auto mall and quickly got sick of all the games. I went back to Low Country Motors and was refreshed with the true customer service and care. Shane was absolutely amazing in helping me find the right car at the right price. I continue to be impressed with the dedication that Low Country Motors puts into the quality of the vehicles they sell and the service they offer. I will continue to tell everyone about my very positive experience and will recommend they go to Low Country Motors for any auto need. My first time buying a car here and definitely not my last. I used to drive by everyday, and I heard the commercials " Remember everyone drives a used car", and decided to give them a try. My 2011 Camry is in excellent shape. Mike, and Kyle worked with my financial situation and with their patience I was able to drive off the lot with one great car!. These guys are REAL and do indeed have your best interests in mind. What a refreshing experience after dealing with the new car dealerships in the area. Please give these guys a chance before you head over to the auto mall. You will not regret it! John R
