I have been shopping for my third Expedition for a while. My 1997 one was pretty loaded but needed more room so went to the most basic one to get the ninth seat. I bought my 2003 Expedition with very low miles and it has served us well for almost nine years. But we needed a little more--the kids were constantly complaining about not having rear air! So I knew I wanted a used one with low miles and a little nicer than the one I have been driving, more like my first one. I looked at quite. They either had too many miles, were too expensive or did not have the features I was looking for. I finally gave up on getting an Expedition all together and I almost settled for a minivan even though I knew it would not fit all my kids. I am glad we could not find the title to my old Expedition and had a night to sleep on it because the next morning I wanted to pile my seven kids that still live at home in the car and I realized that had I bought that minivan, we would not have fit! So the search for an eight-passenger vehicle began again and the Expedition was back at the top of my list. My husband and I both found a link to Expedition at Auto Selection independently from each other on different sites. It had everything I wanted! I filled out the information request form and I quickly got a call back. However, I was afraid that because we had to request a duplicate title for my old Expedition that I planned to trade in, I had no chance to get it. I could hardly sleep that night, thinking someone else was going to get it before I even had a chance to look at it. I knew if I had been looking that hard for something like it, others had been, too! I decided to call first thing in the morning to set up an appointment. I went in and took one look at it and fell in love! It is the nicest Expedition I have seen, fully loaded and with some after-market upgrades, all the features I wanted and more! The people at Auto Selection were fantastic, too. They are some of the nicest, most pleasant people to work with. They didnt just want to sell us a car. They wanted to make sure we happy. They took time to learn a little bit about me and my family. After they found out we had eight children, seven still at home, they quipped, "You really need that Expedition!" I agreed completely! They worked with us, lowered our down payment and shopped around for the best rate. They got the vehicle and a warranty to fit our budget and I got the car I really wanted! Its been less than 24 hours and in my excitement I forgot the discs for the navigation system and a couple of minor things. I called them and they had them waiting for me when I went back today. When they realized one disc was missing, they offered to order a replacement. The men at Auto Selection even swapped the way-too-flashy chrome mesh grill from the new Expedition with the standard one from my old one. My kids are still teasing me about the flashy rims but I think we might be able to live with them for a little while. All I can say about this company and the people there is that they are not just "used car salespeople." They are true professionals and strive to make their customers happy, even if it means down-grading a fully upgraded vehicle at the customers request! I highly recommend them!

Before I purchased the Jeep Wrangler from Auto Selection of Charlotte, I had a reputable Auto Repair Shop point out a few things to be aware of before I bought it. One was an oil leak or an oil leak repair that hadnt been cleaned up, the other was that the diagnostic codes were just reset with a possibility for Emission Codes. The owner’s son, tells me that I shouldnt worry! We offer a $500 warranty on the vehicle. You are covered if there is anything wrong. This was a present for my wife. It was a Jeep, which she wanted since she was a teenager. As we drove down the road to celebrate her 40th birthday(Less than 100 miles since the purchase), the check engine light came on. Turns out, the reason they reset it, was the Catalytic converter was faulty and later we found it was leaking oil. They falsely charged 5 hours, to replace a gasket that was reported to take .9 - 1.2 hours depending on which mechanic labor index you go by(this is how mechanics know how much is fair to charge for a repair). They reset the check engine light again and said it was nothing to worry about. It came back on, because there was something to worry about. Now they say there is only $225 left of the warranty to fix a $719 job on the catalytic converter. Keep in mind all this was pointed out and they told me not to worry about it, I have a warranty. I asked them to at least provide me the Catalytic converter and I would install it. They refused, so my $19,544 Jeep already needs $994 worth of repairs within the first 100 miles, and they say it’s all coincidental. I wanted to help others not fall victim. Play it safe and go somewhere reputable. What I cannot figure out is how they got the other good reviews. Maybe they take care of you after you write a bad review, so you will rewrite it. Thats the best I can figure. I just regret that my poor wife had to associate her 40th birthday dream with corruption and greed. Worst part was we paid the full price for the jeep, I didnt haggle, and they didnt even have to pay a salesman, cause the one I was working with had quite working there that day. I can see why now. I am sure they will try to come up with some reply to try to discredit me, but I won’t sell out. I have tried to work with them and I will take a hit, so others dont get taken advantage of. Hopefully everyone reads this and steers clear. There are plenty of businesses out there that actually value their customers. Find one of those. Save yourself!

Hello, I just wanted to share my experience at Auto Selection of Charlotte. I had the pleasure of finding this particular dealership on Craigslist and contacted them to inquire about a specific car I was interested in. Pamela contacted me right back and I made an appointment to look at the car. However, being a first time buyer I was encouraged to look at something reasonable based on my finances. The entire staff was very helpful and patient with me. Justin ensured me that they would definitely get me a car that would work for me. Rodney also was very helpful during the whole process and I mean the whole process lol. They not only helped me with purchasing my first car, but they helped me to find the best insurance company that would be reasonable for me as well. I am happy with the services that was provided and continue to provide. One of my lights needed fixed a week later and they told me to come right in and fixed it with no hesitation. I would recommend me this dealership to everyone especially if you are having trouble with your credit and in need of a great quality car. Even though the process may be long and you may get frustrated, the people at Auto Selection of Charlotte will keep a smile on their face and be sure you leave with one on yours too. They stick to their words from the beginning to the end. So, go visit them on south blvd and ask for Justin and Rodney. I will guarantee that you will be satisfied and all of your needs will be met. I love my little Toyota Yaris she is a little beauty with great mileage!! Thanks guys!!! Aldreonna
