Visited Asheville this last week for vacation... arrived late on a Saturday evening and stepped in to ask if they had a city map... in the course of discussion mentioned I was looking for lodging for the night (not finding much available) and Heidi started googling motels and then recommended the Montreat conference center in Black Mountain. Within a couple minutes she had them on the phone and I was able to book a room for the night. She gave me directions to get to freeway and find my way there. I was very impressed with her efforts to help me out and the accommodations she found. I cant express enough how impressed and grateful I am with the kindness and customer service I was shown just walking in off the street... Thank you so much...

Local Friends! If you are in Asheville this weekend doing some shopping, this is the shop for you to check out. They have some of the coolest gift ideas and large selection of products made by women from right here in our area (and from around the world) for everyone on your list! Heidi has also put together a wonderful exhibit for the museum that you all need to check out. Finally, a place in the business world that lifts women up, supports them, and nurtures them! I LOVE THIS SHOP!

aSHEville Museum is a true treasure. They managed to pack many fascinating exhibits in a relatively small space without feeling cramped. The gift shop is full of a bunch of wonderful, ethically made, unique gifts at various price points. Also, admission is basically pay what you can which makes it financially accessible to anyone. The owner/manager (?) Heidi is a very kind wonderful person. This museum is definitely worth a visit.

Came in with my my wife and 4 kids. Lady behind the counter rudely interrupted my wife as she was talking to me and later on made a face at her as she was saying something to me. As I left I commented "maybe if you didnt make faces at customers you would have more" and she chased me out the door and down the sidewalk. I would avoid this place at all costs if you want to be treated with any decency.

Artistic throughout - the only place to be affected via education of womens perspective as well as get a good mini-screwdriver tool. Quite dynamic. Playful assemblage of items and overall mindful & creative displays of great art. The old marketing ads to women were some of the best, and the body parts painting display is enlightening. Fun & serious @ the same time.

Very informative and inspiring, even as someone who feels enlightened to womens issues, I managed to learn a lot. Loved the "100 Years of Sexism in Advertising" exhibit. My husband enjoyed the exhibits and it led to some great discussions in the days following out visit. Highly recommended! Love the sliding admission scale, we chose to pay $10 a piece.

This store/museum was absolutely fantastic. I loved everything there. The art exhibits were insightful and intriguing. Not only was the art fantastic, but they are very accommodating as well. They made it very easy for me to view the art exhibition that was on display. I would recommend everyone to go there and see everything that they have to offer.

Great place to find all kinds of very distinct, unusual and lovely items to purchase that benifits so many worthwhile causes. These are mostly handmade products from local to distant lands. The museum is very interesting and well done. Well worth a look.
