This is a Underrated gem of a store. Rich does a spectacular job of running the place. Rad prices, sweet deals, and a freakin awesome staff. As a original Playstation collector, these guys are willing to help find just what you want (and for a more than decent price). Not only that, the staff is so friendly that I often find myself striking up a intelligent conversation with ease. They also have a VERY clean game room and a entire wall full of consolesgames (including Atari, 3do, genesis, gba, Ps1, Ps2,Ps3, Ps4, Xbone, wii, nes, snes, gamecube, psp, ds and etc). After shopping here, I realized that GameStop is obsolete.

Somebody Somewhere

This place should be the first place you check if youre in the Asheville/Hendersonville area and interested in retro gaming. The service is outstanding. They are patient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the games/market/etc. The games are VERY reasonably priced. Just to give you an idea I picked up some 8-bit Nintendo games that were on average about 2 to 3 dollars below the average online price. That really adds up if you buy in bulk. There is a great selection of games which according to the staff changes frequently. I look forward to doing business at this store for a long time to come!

Had what I was looking for. Claimed to be in working condition. Console would not display. Thinking the A/V Cables that were included were cheap/knock off brand and not the original manufacturers. Anyhow, I will be going back today to see if they can get this all sorted out. Very nice place. Atmosphere is great, people there are friendly and helpful. They buy and sell used retro gaming so most of the complaints are probably because of the old technology, not the employees their selves. A+ Business! Will continue to shop for my old games here while I live in the area.

Really cool shop! The selection was good, the prices were really fair, and Im looking forward to going back. The associate wasnt particularly involved, he was more interested in watching what sounded like wrestling. I get it, though! You were probably just trying not to bother us and I can appreciate that. I just wish I knew a little more about your services and events - theres clearly a wall of TVs and consoles to use and it seems like you have a loyalty program from what I saw on the whiteboard! I would have asked about it more but you seemed busy!

These guys are fantastic. They have really reasonable prices, and the employees are all extremely knowledgable. I bought an SNES from them about a year ago and brought it back in with no receipt on the off chance that they could help me out. Not only did they sit down and troubleshoot with me for a good thirty minutes, but when we couldnt find a solution they flat out handed me a replacement system. Im never shopping at GameStop again.

I have bought from these guys multiple times. Im not sure if its a string of luck that I have hit, but every time Ive gone in there, they have the game that I was looking for. The guys are super helpful, they have an awesome selection, the staff is very knowledgeable, and its overall a great spot for retro and modern games. They always do right by me and deserve a 100/5 star rating. They definitely have a repeat customer.

Needed a gamecube on next to no notice, called and they luckily had one in stock. By the time Id arrived it was not only tested and packed up, hed thrown in a controller just because. The prices are too good for the staff to be so competent and friendly, but they are! Will definitely be back whenever I need some gaming fix met. Again, cannot recommend this place more.

Ive been going here since it first opened (and was formerly called Play N Trade). This place has a HUGE collection of classic/retro games, and new/used modern games and consoles. Easily the best deals in town, and the owner is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet, and a real treat to do business with. Great deals, great game, and great workers. I love this place!

My son is an avid retro-game collector. This store always has something to see for him. The staff are also very helpful and I have found them to be honest. Weve had a game one time not work (out of probably 40 bought), and they let us return it without any problem. They also allow you to "try out" games before you buy, and are very patient while doing so.

Rich is a great guy, Im a regular and I buy older games here all the time, after about a year they started just immediately letting me know if some games came that I may be interested in. He also lets us run Smash Bros tournaments on Thursdays at no cost, not many venues are that generous, its an amazing business that knows how to treat their customers.

The staff has a level over 9000! Being able to walk in and actually have a conversation about video games is spectacular. These guys know a fair price and dont try to cheat you out. The only issue I have is that everyone gets there before me to get the good games for the good prices!
