I am so very disappointed in the customer service I received from the location in Biltmore Park location. My daughter bought me a necklace just prior to Christmas 2014 which had all kinds of nice words describing MOM. I cherished this necklace even though I knew it was only costume jewelry - it was priceless to me. Six months later, the "coating" on the necklace has worn off and the back of the medallion has dark rough spots on it. I went into the store this past weekend to ask what could be done about it since my neighbor has the same necklace for even longer than I have had mine and hers is still in perfect condition. Not only did the sales clerk not offer me a solution, she told me she didnt recognize the necklace, did I have a receipt, does not think they ever sold such a piece, reminded me it "is costume jewelry, maam," and told me the coating normally only lasts about 6 months. I have costume jewelry from years ago that still looks fine. Last time I will spend any money in that store!

My sister was visiting from California and she frequents Charming Charlies in her home town. She wanted to go into this one to pick up some things and browse a little bit. We walked in about 10 minutes before the store closed. She picked up three or four shirts, some jewelry and some other things to buy for her daughters. At 3 minutes past 9, my sister asked the clerk if they were closed. The clerk responded, "Yes, if you could wrap it up, wed like to get out of here." Wow, someone must be new to the customer service industry. At the Charming Charlies where she regularly shops, they will let her stay for a few minutes beyond closing while they sweep the floor and things like that. Since this location didnt want the business, she returned the merchandise to the racks and left with nothing. I really wish I had gotten the clerks name but, theres really no reason to go back to this location every again.

I absolutely love this store. It is large, well-organized, and generally fun to be in. The customer service is also top-notch. when I accidentally left my wallet there, it was immediately placed in a safe on-site and the sales associate was extremely helpful when I called to inquire whether I had left it. 10/10
