Went in to get a brake adjusted from a bike that was ordered online. Asked for a tune-up, which was relatively costly so I asked if the price could be reduced since it was only the brake and the rep said, "You could always try" another shop essentially. I left the bike there with a quote for a tune up; however, after five minutes of driving, I turned around and picked it up from a different rep while it was still in the front. He seemed nicer. The previous rep said the tune up would take 3-5 days considering the amount of bikes already in the store so I brought it to another place. It turned out to be an extremely simple repair which was done within 30 sec at another shop in front of me for free. I wasnt trying to scam them. I just dont have the money available to pay debts and get everything expertly adjusted. I had a bad experience, but I also believe that money is the first priority for some there.

Current management and staff (Chris / Jake) is something left to be desired. One customer came in today (08/13/2017) complaining they never received a call (Chris) after their bike was done being prepped for final sale, after a week of layover! I had a similar experience several years(2011) ago and wound up pulling my payment on a bike due to poor customer service. Short staffed or not, You should always put your customers first. I gave them another chance today, looking for a particular item when and they lost my business. Jake was all "Creeping," up on me and i witnessed him knock over several bikes, including that customers bike. I was not comfortable with a sale with them after this mishap and poor customer service was present. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never return. Period.

Knowledgeable, courteous, helpful staff. They were patient with me in exploring different styles and options, working to find the right bike for me. I felt no pressure to overspend and they were able to work entirely within my budget. They also put the bike together for me and taught me about the bikes features step-by-step. There were no hidden costs and I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. Will give the team my highest recommendation - they earned themselves a loyal customer!

For those of us who make an attempt to make some repair once every couple of years, it can be kind of frustrating. I wanted to repack the bearings on my wheels and went in to buy a special cone wrench and what I got was a quick tutorial on how to do the job - just what I needed. The staff were very patient with my stupid questions. As we talked, it opened up some options on other things I was interested in, such as peddle clip options on an old bike. Ill be back

Great bunch of guys here - very patient and extremely helpful! I always seem to end up having to order the stuff I want from them though. That isnt a big deal however, since they get stuff in quickly and promptly call to let you know its in. I had my new special order bike within a week, and parts come in normally in a couple days. Theyll even work with you to get you a great price on things. Im a repeat customer, and will always recommend them first!

Charged me 32 bucks to replace 2 tubes including parts, seemed a little steep... and I had to leave it there because they didnt have a tech working at the time. Appearance of things in general was not exactly professional including the fact that while I was waiting on the phone the guy had a whole conversation/debate with another worker with me on the line. I will give the one clerk a good mark for effort but I wont be going back.

Best bike shop in CNY! I stopped in looking for a Specialized full suspension bike and the staff helped me figure out just which model would be right for me, they didnt have it in stock but ordered it and had it built and ready the next week. the service after the sale was unbelievable too, with a free 120 day tune up and helpful maintenance tips. I would definitely recommend this shop to any one.

Had a pesky, repetitive flat rear tire, ripped through 3 tubes in one week! Brought the tire/rim in to Advance Cyclery (first time in the shop), and the guys were great. Extremely helpful, clearly knew what they were talking about, and they evaluated and fixed the problem right on the spot. While I hope nothing else breaks soon, it is nice to know I have a place I can actually trust.

Bought and paid (same day) for a used bike from this shop on eBay. Did not receive bike. Refunded money 2+ weeks later when I asked when bike was going to be shipped. When I called shop, evasive about reason for not following through, unapologetic and had a bit of an attitude about their attempt to take my money. Caveat Emptor.

I was just in the store this morning with several issues on two separate bikes. The guys quickly identified all the problems and even helped me fixed a stripped rotor bolt that i thought would need to get to machined drilled out. Excellent, efficient, and warm service. This store is great! They helped me find what I needed quickly and didnt try to sell me more than I needed. The staff person that helped me clearly knew what he was talking about. You should go even if its just to see the artwork on the stairwell, which is bomb. :) Shop local!
