They neglect & mistreat their birds and have seemingly no knowledge about how to care for them aside from calling them cute while keeping them locked up for show. This is the equivilence of keeping a puppy locked up in its cage for years "just for show." Two of the birds that I noticed were in such rough shape that it broke my heart. And being a bird owner, these were noticable issues that have accumulated over at least 1 years time. I couldnt even bring myself to check out the rest of the birds after only seeing just 5...

For a store to call themselves everything pets, you would assume, they would have everything. They have sugar gliders and some other exotic pets, but when it comes to simple cats and dogs, they are lacking. Their selection of cat food is laughable. If you wanna call yourself everything pets, maybe consider carrying products for your normal, everyday, house cat. As someone who lives right down the road, I now travel to Mohawk Commons to Petsmart.

This place lies to you we ask about there return policy they told us we have 7 days to return and get are money back after we got home the next day we plan on returning him only cause the bird hiss at me and you cant even put your hand into the cage and now it says you return you only get a replacement or store credit also you get only 50% of your money back now am stuck with a mean bird

Amazing store. All dogs come from local breeders with their paperwork , owner takes great care in ensuring all animals in her stores are well taken care of. Check some of the other stores if you cant find your food; the Rotterdam location has a wide selection of foods, the girls at Colonie are happy to check and make a transfer for whatever you need. Support your small business!

Ive been going to pet stores my whole life and Ive seen animals in this store that Ive never seen in person before or never even heard of. Their exotic pet supplies blow PetSmart out of the water in both range of products and prices. Staff has been helpful every time Ive been in, very glad this is my nearest pet store!
