My girlfriend came in for a medusa piercing. It took 15 minutes to have the stud of her jewlery screwed in. She became very uncomfortable after a while of having her new piercing messed with. They did their best to give her water, etc. as the process went on, but nonetheless it was uncharacteristic of a typical piercing experience. In addition, a short bar was used as jewelry for the piercing which when the lip swelled caused the jewlery to sink into her skin. My sister also had her nose pierced. Both my girlfriend and sister left with blood still surrounding their piercings and no after care was provided. We had to go out to the store to buy our own makings for saline solution. We dont feel that a piercer should perform a piercing without the proper materials and hope that this isnt a common instance at this establishment.

Marc is such a fantastic artist! You cant go wrong in letting him work his creative magic on you! He is well worth the trust it takes to do that! The shop is always clean & he runs a tight business - you will always be treated fairly & as a priority! I have a few larger pieces done by Marc - I told him what I pictured in my mind & he drew it free-hand on me & they are prettier than I imagined! You definitely need some of Marcs work on you too! :)

Ive had both my tattoos done here and will never go anywhere else!!! Ive gotten so many compliments on my new one, people telling me how great the artist (Marc) did and i couldnt agree more! theyre very friendly and clean. I came in with and idea of what i wanted and he actually ended up drawing something that was 100x better what i imagined! Def suggest this to anybody whose deciding where to get theyre new tat (:

CLEAN, ORGANIZED and FRIENDLY!! My husband and I (and our friends and family) have always felt very well taken care of every time we have been tattooed here. Marc is always a pleasure..a nice combination of fun and professional. We have been referring people to Marc since before he opened Top Hat :)

Best shop on the island in my opinion. Inviting atmosphere, no attitudes like you will find at most long island shops. Just a pleasant place to get your art done at. I have suggested to friends and strangers alike to get their work done there. You will not be disappointed in any aspect.

Marc, I love your shop so much! Im so pleased with all my tattoos, they came out amazing! You guys are so hospitable and friendly which made my experience so much better. Definitely the best place on Long Island to get a tattoo. Reccomended for everyone!!!

If your looking for clean linework, and fantastic color that pops like you wouldnt belive; this is your place. Marc has tattoooed my hand, throat, ribs, among others. Without a doubt this is the premiere tattoo shop on long island, hands down.

The guys here are so nice and friendly! Ive been to and called other places where theyve been extremely rude, and unaccommodating. At Top Hat there are no snobby attitudes and they make you feel welcome. Nick is awesome and does a great job!

I only got one piercing done here, was in and out in 10 mins, I love it and he did a great job, very friendly people, this is the place if your around here to get any art done on your self, definitely coming back for some tattoos as well

ive been to tophat at leastttt 5 times already and i wouldnt go anywhere else! Its extremely clean and the artists do an AMAZING job. I get compliments on my tattoos everywhere I go, and I alwaysss refer them to tophat.

THE ONLY PLACE MY FAMILY GETS TATTOOED IS AT TOP HAT TATTOOS! I thought it was going to hurt, but it didnt. And I would never and will never go anywhere else

Had them pierce my ear and they put it in at a 45 degree angle instead of straight through. Would not recommend for piercings
