I did some research before coming here and between both phone calls and FB messages, I was answered in a very timely manner each time. The artist is very friendly and polite, hell happily chat with you if you feel so inclined or just leave you alone and do his job if you happen to be feeling tired that day (like I was the last time I visited). I had him change the printouts size several times so it fit my wrist just so and he was very patient with me about it. He was very clear on any explanation that came up, including how to take care of the tattoo. When I asked him about white inked tattoos for a friend of mine, he was very informative and gave me his professional opinion and some suggestions for her. Im happy with out my tattoos came out. Id say the only reason they need any touch up at all is only because I didnt take as much care with the second as I did with the first. As far as scheduling goes, I have yet to have an issue! Given it was my first time ever getting a tattoo, the artist and the overall environment made me feel pretty comfortable. Ive been here twice for tattoos and Im planning on coming in a third time very shortly. Got a 4th tattoo from Kaleb, back in April. Still love it!

I have been to quite a few tattoo shops, and by far...this takes the cake( in a good sweet way). I called in to talk with an artist and was able to get an appointment within 2 days. I stopped into another shop and they said the wait was 2 months, yet only one person was getting a tattoo, and there were 3 other artists playing X-Box. I dont know for sure that they were all artists, but i didnt get a good feel. So I went in to A Touch of Color for my appointment and the artist was able to draw it up and do the tattoo within an hour and a half. There was plenty of parking around the shop, and it was free- which is always a perk. They were so nice, and made me feel like I was at home. I am very pleased with the work. This is actually the first time I have EVER left a review for anything....but the reason I went to this shop was after reading their positive reviews and feedback, and they were all right. So Im going out of my way to leave this, so hopefully someone else can be pleased with their tattoo.

I absolutely LOVE A Touch Of Color! Kaleb has done two large tattoos on me since I heard of the shop this year. One on my leg, one on my arm. His prices are great, especially with the military discount, and I always tip him a big tip. His art is superb, sleek, and he knows how to put exactly what you want into a tattoo and make it look its best. The shop is very clean, he uses new needles every time, gloves, etc,so nothing to worry about there either. Kaleb puts his all into every tattoo to make sure youre satisfied, and all work is guaranteed for a year after he does it... for FREE! I always give a good word out to my friends for him, and even strangers when they compliment the tattoos. Since I started going to A Touch Of Color, Kaleb has been my favorite tattoo artist, and Ill keep coming back for his service whenever I want another one.

Kaleb really is as great a guy as everyone else here says. I waited 42 years to get a tattoo and am very glad that Kaleb was available to do the work. Although a very simple design of my own making, he was instrumental in translating it into something tattoo-able. The shop really IS that clean and the equipment is also very clean. I spent a great deal of time in healthcare and know what clean, or not so clean, equipment looks like. I cant comment on cost because I dont know anything about it. I paid the man what I felt was a very reasonable price and am more than satisfied with the work he did.

Kaleb Edgar Is one of the most patient and artistic tattoo artist i have ever met. before getting my tattoo i checked out 4 shops in new haven and nobody took the time to listen to me not only did kaleb listen to everything i had to say he beat every other shops price for my tattoo. i had a allergic reaction to the ink and all the color drained out of my tattoo kaleb fully gaurenteed his work and did the whole tattoo over for free that kind of service is what makes A Touch Of Color my favorite tattoo shop i will definiteley go back to him for any future work

Kaleb has done all of my tattoos. (I have about 9 of them) he has even fixed my very first one i had gotten done at another place that didnt care about their work. I hated it and now i LOVE it. He is a very nice, talented, and creative tattoo artist. I tell him an idea and he creates something better than what i originally thought. What i like most is that he will tell you if the idea is crazy or will look crazy; then give you his expert opinion. I HIGHLY suggest this place!! cool calm enviornment.

SO happy with my tattoo...Kaleb was very professional and took the time to work with me so that all of my specifications were met. A lot of places will rush you or try to tell you what to do but he took the time to draw up a beautiful piece that was exactly what I wanted. The shop was very clean, all needles are opened new, right in front of you and the prices are so much better than other shops. Im already planning my next tattoo to continue my sleeve. Thanks Kaleb!

Never went there for a tattoo, but I have gone to Touch of color to have my snakebites, tongue and septum piercings. Never had an issue with any of them. The tattoo artist(s) that work there are nice regardless of what youre coming in for; Ive never been greeted with a funky attitude. Justin is a great artist, really precise and a cool guy. I refuse to go anywhere else for my piercings! Definitely recommend going to A Touch Of Color.

Katie is a fantastic tattoo artist. I have four tattoos from her, and she is very professional, talented and always willing to work with me on my ideas. She is fair in price, too, and worth every cent. Everyone who works at the shop is welcoming and helpful. I also had my lip pierced there by Justin, and he did a perfect and very clean job.

Kaleb was an awesome artist, who was patient, while I went back and forrth about what I wanted. Clean shop. All new needles/materials, etc.opened in front of me - professional; took the time to explain about how to take care of my tattoo after. Very happy with the outcome. I loved this place i when to get a panther tattoo fix and Katie did an incredible job and charge a good price definitely . Going here for my tattoos from now on real clean and on poing people love them dont understand why all the negative Feed back on the reviews i guess people dont have anything better to do.
