The deli at the Stop & Shop on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie is the slowest Deli the men are really nice but theyre so super super slow unless its your day off do not go there to get cold cuts... I was behind one person and it took 20 minutes the staff at the courtesy desk is really nice except for one lady shes an older lady with gray hair I asked her if they take bill payments and at first she said no and I questioned that then she turned around and told me while she doesnt know how to do it so I cant pay a bill I asked her then is there someone here that can do it and she said the manager is there but she doesnt know how to do it either I then ask to speak to the manager after a few more words were exchanged that werent very nice and the manager apologized said she was sorry for her actions and not only did help me pay the bill but also then gave me a $25 gift card for my troubles... I think she said it was her first day from another location she was really nice I hope that manager stays there long time

Store is too large for my preference. Frustrating parking due to excessive amounts of unused handicapped spots in front. Many expired items. Handy self-checkout is quite useful, however such a minimal amount of shopping can be done if you need everything in a small space. This is a good place for folks or families who have a lot of time to browse and walk for an hour to find everything. This is like shopping at Walmart. Way too large and takes too long to get from one item to the next. Please watch for expired food.

Ive been shopping here for years. It has really declined . Produce is moldy all the time. Shelves always empty . I hate grocery shopping there now. I went in the other day to just grab something quick and it was out of stock. So Im never going there again . Dissapointment everytime I go there now . Now I travel farther to a much better store that is always fully stocked and better produce and better everything , now I like grocery shopping .

I love this store. It is my favourite market to go to. The prices are low and the employees are always extremely helpful. The quality of the food is very good and my favourite part of the store is the organic section. It is a part of the store with only organic and.or healthy alternatives to what the rest of the store may offer. Also, the produce is always fresh and of course delicious.

A fine supermarket. However the produce go bad far more quickly then ones I purchase at Bjs or Hannaford. Also on more then one occasion Ive purchased chicken drumsticks which have been solid black inside. I hesitate to buy either meat or veggies now when I go there and am making a trek to other supermarkets further away.

This location makes me sick! The mens restroom is so filthy and covered with obscene and vulgar pictures. The smell is horrendous! They have odor eliminators in the hallway leading to the restrooms. You can get your fresh meats and cheese from the deli conveniently located next to a petri dish.

My favorite supermarket. Great service. Employees go above and beyond to help customers. I have a choice of two Stop and Shops (avoid S&S on route 9 if you expect decent service) and three other supermarkets. Burnett Blvd Stop and Shop is hands down... the best.

I gave this a rating of 5 stars because of the employee service. They are all smiles and when you cant find a product they will not only tell you what aisle it is in- they will offer to walk you to the aisle and show you exactly where the product is.
