SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! My mother was SO excited to be buying a farm raised turkey this year for Thanksgiving, that is until she cooked it. The 15lb turkey could only feed about for 4 people because it was so FATTY. She was literally beside herself. I had to call and make a complaint with the owner. The owner who was completely defensive and rude at first told me that nobody had ever complained before, we were the first. Finally, she agreed to refund my parents. A week later my father went into Quattros to receive his refund. (truthfully, I was just calling to let them know what happened, because as a business owner you can only make your business better if you fix or know where the problems are, That is how you create repeat business) But this 15lb turkey cost $135, so I figured we should get the refund because the owner offered. Well, my father went into Quattros and talked to the same woman I had on the phone. He didnt tell her who he was at first, he just said "yea, we had a turkey and it was no good. It could barely feed anyone and was all fat" The owner then had the audacity to straight lie to his face and give my father the same spiel shed given me on the phone. The owner spewed the same bitter, defensive words from her mouth that "ive never had a complaint before, I dont know what youre talking about!!" My father was just disgusted with the situation, so he never even explained who he was because clearly they like to lie at Quattros and it wasnt worth his time, so he just left. Nobody wants to be yelled at by someone especially when youre the customer and I even agree that sometimes the customers isnt always right, but we approached in a kind way, only to be treated as liars. The situation here is UNACCEPTABLE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING NEXT YEAR :))

I picked up a goose today at their stand at the Union Square Farmers Market. Looks pretty good and Im excited about it, will be cooked for Christmas. While I was getting the goose, I noticed they had smoked venison sausage and decided to try it. Im eating it now and I just cannot believe how good it is. Oh man, the best ever. Im thinking about people I cant wait to share it with and see the look on their faces when they taste it. Im stunned. I cant wait to go back to get more. Today was my first visit, but I an instantly a regular customer. I noticed they also had wild turkey. I will be trying one of those sometime too. Never had it wild before. I noticed the woman in front of me had a rapport with the woman behind the counter, clearly a regular; knew family members, a good sign. Now for some more of that sausage!

We love Quattros. We go there for amazing sliced turkey sandwiches at lunch. Theyve got the best turkey around, by a large margin. Weve eaten their turkeys at Thanksgiving and been utterly, completely happy with our experience. We feel really good knowing that the birds we eat have been raised in a wholesome way, rather than in some factory farm. The small market has a great selection of delicacies. Yes, you pay a little bit more, but quality is always worth the price, and Quattros is some of the highest quality food weve found. Joyce is one of our favorite people, as is Brian, behind the meat counter, as well as the Quattro girls. Were lucky to have these folks as our neighbors and purveyors.

I went to this store on Monday and was pleased with the meats as well as the great Italian selection. However, there is an older woman with glasses who works there and she was so rude. First she ignored me for approximately 10 minutes and when I simply asked where do I get ice cream she responded in a nasty manner. This woman was even being short with another customer who was standing at the counter placing her order for a sandwich. I would like to return again, but not if that woman is there. Perhaps I caught her on a bad day, but her attitude is very bad for business. Has anyone ever experienced this ?

This place is awesome the meat is always fresh and hi quality. To the person who wrote the bad review about the turkey first I bought one this year that was fresh almost 25 pounds, I didnt have an fat on it at all. The bird was the best I have ever eaten tender and juicy. As for cost it was not nearly as expensive as you posted I believe it was around 4.60 a pound this year. Cant wait for my next turkey. Also the venison is awesome. Also the have an excellent firearm section.

Quattros Farm has been one of my favorite farm stands in Union square market for the last 25 years. I have been very happy with their quality meats and eggs, in all the variety of forms they produce, especially my favorite, the venison and pheasant . Joyce Quattro who has been at the farm stand is one of the most courteous and knowledgable people about their produce who. Very highly recommended.

Exquisite! We get our annual heritage turkey here for Thanksgiving. Year round I purchase the fabulous pheasant sausage, the steaks and roasts, the pastrami tri tip, the unbelievable home-made frozen sauces, and the fresh mozzarella. And thats just the tip of the iceberg. Also, its a well-run family business manned and womanned by multiple generations.

The worlds most unfriendly Deli. They skimp on meat and cheeses and dont have any Hots. Forget asking what kind of bread they have youll get a tongue lashing. A case of old salads. Taxidermied animals hover over old Boars Head meet ends. This place has gone down the tubes and it didnt start very high up.

This is our favorite go-to shop. The meat is always fresh and the Quattro family is always helpful and friendly. Dont skip the pheasant sausage, it is my favorite. Also, their frozen Italian specialities are homemade and remind me of my grandmothers cooking. Try the veal tortelloni with marinara.

Love the taxidermy on display. Talented hunters. The older lady with glasses is FABULOUS and the signage on the door is helpful so I know what to do and where to go. Sandwiches are always full, made to order, and bread is delicious. Stop by on Sundays for an amazing egg sandwich!!

Great locally raised chicken and fowl. House smoked meats and cheeses. I buy all my meat and poultry here. If I dont, I cant figure out what to make for dinner. Not a gocerry store, more of a specialty market.

Expensive, but worth it. Great, local produce and a solid hunting supply store. The ice cream is good, and the staff is friendly. A local staple

Always fresh. Great meats. Thick cuts. Breakfast sandwiches always tasty. Decent prices. Animal mounts on walls entertained the four year old.

Have never been there and not sure I will ever go, since an employee was not very friendly when I called with a simple question.
