WASTE OF TIME: You have to watch the prices when items get scanned or else its time waiting and waiting on the Customer Service line for you! Other places the cashier refunds you right there on the spot but here its a trip to the CS Dept. Missed my train dealing with this nonsense where their advertised pricing doesnt square up with their computers so I was late to work...and heres the real kicker -- the sales arent even that impressive! So big and spacious but employing little false advertising gimmicks like this as if I were at a neighborhood bodega where they just make things up depending on how they feel. Ive never had a good experience at Stop & Shop no matter the location so Im giving up on them. I took a photo of their sales tag but when I finally got to their rep I just wanted all my money back instead of having them do an "investigation" (sending someone out to check on the price): WASTE OF TIME.

This store is not only lacking customer service professionalism but the food on the shelves are always old, poorly displayed and lack in variety. The only good service in this entire store is the pharmacy department. All other staff members appear to be upset if a customer asks for help and most of them are clueless on where to guide customers when seeking an item. Very disgruntled employees and very poor conditions of the store. Its a shame that this is the store us Arverne by the Sea residents are subjected to. Ive opted out of shopping at this store and have had a much better shopping experience at the Key Food on Beach 87th Street. The customer service professionalism, the fresh and variety filled food products are worth the extra 5 minute drive. Good luck to those that shop at Stop and Shop.

This location always closes 10 minutes before 10p.m. When I asked the young man why, his reply was, the security guard always does it. That doesnt make it right. Also, its obvious that there is new management. Its always dumpy, filthy with trash, filthy floors and never, ever will I find a cart. Leafy produce looks old. Forget about finding a shopping basket. I also overheard a Hispanic supervisor make a comment about, "We are near the projects, I cant wait to close the doors". Thats just distasteful, she didnt care about myself and another shopping overhearing her disgusting comments.

This Stop and Shop is by far not the best when it comes to Stop and Shops. However its not the worst supermarket. Its large with lots of items. Only thing is there is not much when it comes to variety. The employees always look unhappy. Their rotisserie chickens are usually burned. Sometimes the checkout lines are long and thats including the self checkout line. Plus they start closing down areas of the store way before closing. Bottom line, this supermarket isnt welcoming.

Although it is clean and has great selection on fresh foods, my MAJOR problem with this store is the lack of cashiers at the check-out lines. I specifically go to the store either before they close or right after they open because any other time, the check-out lines are RIDICULOUSLY long and slow. There are more than 10 check-out lines and I have never seen more than 4 of them being operated, especially when its crowded.

I love Stop & Shop Today my bill was $56.41 Sodas , grapes bread ( $5 bread Really ) ended up to that amount of money I saved $30.24 because I joined something ( which Im always doing ) and I had a shoppers card on my phone I paid $26.17 total amount Oh boy I cant believe how much money I save just because I put my phone under your register Thank you Stop and Shop Im be shipping some more

I gave this stop and shop 2 stars because of its unwelcoming odor. Ewwww...you know how a junkie smells when puss is leaking from a wound?..this is how is smells at least 3 times a week. I walk in and walk out. Who knows if it could be an air bourne bactria or virus . the management should take steps to have this odor controlled or removed immediately. Disgusting odor!!

Has a lot of the natural and organic products I normally get at WF or Natural markets. My major gripe is the fresh green leaf produce!!!! It is horrible!!! I did ask why dont they have the sprinklers, the stocker said because people complained. WTH! Water the plants, people will buy them and they wont look like theyve been sitting for weeks! JS

I was completely humiliated as a human being with my 5 year old daughter by a regular department manager named bill on the night shift, I feel like he was being belligerent & unprofessional as a representative of the stop and shop brand. I will no longer spend any money with this company. All of this over a western union transaction.

Large store , poorly staffed. Hard to find help when looking for something. Open late, so its allways a great place to run for "emergency" shopping. Make use of the self checkouts. Usually only 2 lanes open . Very large frozen goods section.

The fact that this location is so accessible is great for locals as well as Visiting beach goers. You could either do your food shopping for +he week or grab a bottle of sun tan lotion. Either way youre covered.

There ready to feed Similac advance need to be taken off the shelf. The date good.. however the milk is discolored and made my one month old vomit and have diarrhea. I return the milk to another location.

Good clean, well organized, theres a good size deli counter and a small seafood counter. Theres a nice seasonal item aisle. Store associate are nice if you can find them. Not to many organic produce

We love this location and shop there weekly. Employees are nice and helpful. Only one thing bad is it seems like they are short on cleaning staff. Entryway is always filthy and rarely any carts.

It is one of the more decent grocery stores in Rockaway but fail to keep meat and others stocked. I often have to go to multiple stores cause I cant get everything I need out of that one store.

Its the place with the best quality food at reasonable prices in the Rockaway part of Queens but bottle recycling machines ,self checkout machines & shopping carts are all on their last legs.

Every time I go 2stop N shop N pay at cash register or self check out its with ease N not much wait-n. Its great N the family pack is a real family pack. But some times the carts r messy.

Fruits and vegetables are old, disgusting, not even for a human being to eat....there is no variety from meat products..staff are not there for help except like two people...:/

Ordered a cake for my niece and these people had the nerve to tell me that the color of the cake was pink and purple when it really was blue red white n pink. Smh
