Worst experience ever!!!!! I walked into the Pine Bush Dollar General at 9am to pick up one thing. I asked the sales associate where the zip lock bags were located and she pointed to the back of the store and said its back there, as if there were ten people waiting in line and she could not take two mins to show me. I found what I was looking for and it was priced at $2.65. when I got to the register the same sales associate scanned the product and it was coming up at $3.89. I explained to her that it was listed at $2.65 and told her to hold on while I go to the back and take a picture to save time. When I came back with picture she went to the back for five mins, came back and verified the price at $2.65. Then she told me its scanning different would you like to buy another product, when I told her no I want to pay the price I see she looked at me like I had two heads and another sales associate with a broken leg attempted to help me but when I saw her about to walk all the way back to the isle I told them forget it and I walked out. Absolutely bad in all ways, poor customer service

It would be a great store but theres usually only 1 employee working at the registers while theres 5-10 people in line. School dismissal time in Pine Bush has all of the stores busier so youd think theyd plan for it. Doesnt matter if you go in between 1:30PM and 4pm theres going to be lines. I was in the store 3rd person in line at checkout the customer and employee were more worried about each others lives than getting checked out. Then the customer says after checking out oh I needed cigarettes which took another 5 minutes. The next customer had 1 item but was short on money he says to the cashier Ill be right back I have to get it from the car. It literally took him 5 minutes to get it. The cashier could of easily finished ringing him out since he was only short .20 he most likely would have it or cancel the transaction and helping the next person in line. When o got in line to the time I got to the register 9 more people lined up. It hasnt been open very long and the cleanliness has already started going down and its very disorganized. Things are just thrown every where.

Overall an excellent store. Once in a while there is a line but usually its no more than 2-3 people. The store is clean and well organized most of the time. When they are changing seasonal stock it can get cluttered but once they get the seasonal stuff out, it stays organized. The overall price on merchandise is cheap to moderately priced. Its definitely cheaper than most box stores and gas stations. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I normally would like this place, but lately there are rolling carts with stock on them blocking the aisles so you have to walk all the way around to get in. Its so messy and dirty all the time. And I suggest you go around the back of the building with some Kleenex if you need to go potty, because the last 2 times I needed to, it was beyond filth.

Dollar General wouldnt be a bad place if they replace the manager. She belittles her employees in front of customers, abuses her power of being manager and isnt very friendly. Im thinking the manager needs a new job, I certainly will not be shopping in there anymore and neither will my friends and family until Managerzilla is gone!!!

Dollar General is where I get a few things fast - low price on most of the main household items I buy. But I will never ask for cash back ($1 fee).
