Called to see if they had down filled ski gloves, waited for at least 10 minutes to have the sales guy tell me they dont really make down gloves for skiing but only for mountaineering because they clump with moisture. When I explained to him that every major ski glove manufacturer makes down gloves he told me theyre not really for skiing, which is funny because they all say "ski gloves" all over the packaging and in product searches on google and amazon. This is why I love shopping at small businesses, the huge corporate chains are always useless.

Once you get a sales representative, they are super helpful and stay with you pretty much all the time. I like that they can order unavailable stuff from other stores and ship it directly home. I do love their clothes and such, however prices are often prohibitive. 80$ for corduroy pants that have no specialized use, could be a days salary for someone. That said, most things they sell are often the same price on other website anyway, so it is good to go with REI for customer service and perks. People are friendly and talkative.

The staff is always very helpful. There are certainly times I have had to wait 5-10 minutes to get the ski guy or the bike guy to help me as they were with other guests but once they are helping you they are very patient and provide a small store (not big box) type of personalized assistance. We use it for biking, camping, and skiing gear and general outdoor clothes and other stuff and love getting the dividends at end of the year based upon how much we buy during the year.

Really great store for buying clothes, accessories and equipment for outdoor adventures, whether hiking, cycling, canoeing, or whatever! Staff are trained to be exceptionally helpful and friendly, and this has been my experience 100% of times I have been in this store. Well worth paying the meager fee to join, although its optional. Look for special sales around Memorial Day leading into the summer season.

REI on route 10 is an amazing store for the outdoorsy type. I recently bought a bike and a child seat. Peter helped me out with both, and he was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and set me up with a bike that I really needed. The service department added the seat and made all the needed configurations while I waited. Thank you.

The experience for feedback about packs were great until I was pushed for the co-op. When I said no the cashier and one of the floor staff turned their happy attitudes, into ok its time for you to leave the store and I dont care about your presence. After the transaction they said nothing to me and I left.

Have always thought REI as the go-to place for all things outdoors. Staff is super helpful and informative. Never pushy. Ive been to many REIs across the country and theyve all been great, but Im partial to the East Hanover store in particular since the people here have always been super friendly.

Safavieh flagship store in livingston is one of the most beautiful furniture stores in whole NJ, the quality of furniture is exquisite. Photos doesnt justify the beauty, if you are looking for good furniture, check it out next time you are in neigborhood.

The sales staff is knowledgeable and hospitable. The products are of high quality and good selection. The lifetime membership for $20 is worth it if you purchase annually from the REI. You get 10% back annually and sale coupons for members.
