Do NOT buy appliances from Best Buy. Not only this Best Buy, but from the whole chain. Their 3rd party delivery services are the worst. "Joe Shmos" appliances would have better service. So heres my story of horrible experiences with Best Buy. I had ordered appliances (Fridge and Washer/Dryer) from the Patchogue store in January. They put my New Jersey address using Patchogue, NY as the city and state... So, I took the day off for nothing and my order never came. Then... they rescheduled my delivery for 1 week later, which was scheduled to be delivered between 12-4PM. Another day to take off. They called me the day before and said your delivery is now going to be between 4-8PM. So now here starts Best Buys professional delivery services: 7:30PM The delivery person calls me to say they are running 1 hour late. 8:30PM The delivery person calls me to say they are running 30 mins late still. 9:30PM The delivery person calls to say they will be 1 hour late still. (At this point I should have canceled the order but I really needed a washer/dryer) 10:30PM I call the delivery person back they said it will be another hour. 11:30PM They call to say they are 30 minutes away but on the way, do you want the us to come? I said NO, not letting delivery people at my house at midnight. So.. he said he would deliver 8AM in the morning. (Now I have to go to work late). 8AM comes along & they bring the washer dryer, and notice that Best Buy hasnt put a stacking kit for the washer dryer on my order. So they CANT deliver. I called up Best Buy, spoke with the manager, and he said he wont be able to get the stacking kit out today, it can take a few days to a week. So... this is their escalation process... Telling the customer to wait another week so they can get the order right. No other option! If youre still reading this... just stop yourself from walking into Best Buy to order appliances. Its not worth it. I dont wish this experience on anyone else.

The staff is friendly and helpful when i was purchasing my wifes HP laptop , the geek squad is another issue . They ahould be as friendly and helpful as the sales person instead of being short and condensending and that is if you are lucky enough to get one to speak with you. Since i purchased my wifes HP in December including an extended warrentee and geek squad protection we have been online with the geek squad several times averaging 3-5 hours each seasion and 2 times overnight. One time we were advised that out printer was no good and needed replacement ,we replaced it and still had same problems . Another time we were told it was our router and so we replaced that as well. Yet another time we were told that windows 10 is having connectivity issues with wireless printers and they are working on a patch. Keep in mind each time we had an issue which is well over 5 times now the geek squad accessed our computer remotely and starts playing with the configurations. Which would remedy the computer for a day or so and then start the processs all over again. This last go round lasted 6 hours and when completed we no longer had google and the printer is not working again. Did i mention that we have three other computers in the house that have worked the whole time with both the old and new set ups. Beyond fustrated at this point ! Coustomer service needs improvement. When asked the counter person at geek squad a few questions recieved nothing but answers that were redirecting and condensending. When we asked for the geek squad managers number and store managers number the counter person refused to answer. I spent alot of money at this store, great promises at purchase but follow up is very poor to date . Future purchases not looking too promising. I will update this post on how this ends

Wish I could give zero stars...the customer service here is AWFUL. They advertised a 20% off coupon in front of the item we were purchasing but then when we brought it to the register the coupon would not scan. The cashier called his supervisor "Frank" who printed out a seperate sheet of paper showing terms and conditions of the coupon. The terms were stated on the coupon we had and said nothing to the sort of what his rule said. He was extremely rude and told us to call 1800 bestbuy. Like really???? He then walked away and we got the store manager, Scott involved who was equally as rude. After speaking with Alyssa from customer service she confirmed we were entitled to the coupon so she called the store and the MANAGER STILL refused to give us the coupon. Ultimately we wound up getting the deal through the customer service and picking it up in store same time anyway. So basically the manager for some odd reason wanted us to be inconvenienced in the store by being there for an hour and a half. Never in my life have I experienced a worse customer service.

Service was awful. Asked them to help me update the software on my phone. Gave it to a lady and first thing she said to me was that my phone wasnt active. She didnt even look to see what was wrong with it.. I merely had the cellular data turned off at the time. So I sit with her for 30 mins while shes youtubing a "how to video" and she cant do anything. She asks her coworker if he can update my phone and the first thing he says is that "his phone is an older phone so it might not get the update." Meanwhile my phone came out in 2015. Finally the kid talks some sense and says that my service provider probably hasnt sent out the update yet. Long story short, if you have a question for people here, dont even bother asking unless you want to waste your time. Buy all your products on ebay or amazon! its cheaper. And if you have a question, just google it. Best Buy sucks!

Black Friday went to buy Apple Mac Pro. In stock. Wanted to charge on store credit card that I did not have with me ( visiting kids). Salesman put me on phone to find current credit card number - did not - reapplied for new one Approved but now 2 accounts with $3000 cried limit.. (Same name etc). Told operator in credit Dept about two accounts - said I couldnt do that ( like I said) 2 hours later had to leave. Went to sons house called Best Buy number in line. Was told but automated answer old credit card balance (0) etc New card cancelled after credit check! Went back today to finish order -- they will not give Black Friday price. $ 150 more ! Going to cancel card and shop eslwhere ! Boo to Best Buy. . ... Filling BBB report

I went to purchase a radio and after buying and ordering everything I Was supposedly supposed to order. I later discovered that I needed a certain bypass system along with more peices I was not told about. This would cost me an additional $330 so the mechanic told me he would take it out and I can return the radio if I want. I decided to return it but they refused to let be due to the fact a couple wires were already saughtered together, done by their guy! So I brought my radio to some other place and they installed it without those extra pieces. Long story short the salesmen dont know whatbthey are doing, they nickle and dime you for everything and they take no actions for the mistakes they make.
