When I think of my newborn son theres many memories one may think of, but most might not think of their local PC Richard, and the family of great people it employees. I say "Family", because thats how they feel to me, my family. It was a cold, rainy winter night. We just got back from the ER where my newborn had been all night with a 104 fever. The doctors were still not sure what it might be, but it could be very serious the doctors said. But most importantly we needed to keep a CLOSE eye on him, and must add a humidifier. I said no problem, I will fire up my Nest cam, and the old humidifier when I got home. The night was moving fast as I got home, and through the cries of my baby boy, I could barely get a mist to come out of the humidifier, let alone get my Nest cam to light up. I quickly checked my bank account and saw my check wouldnt clear until the morning, but maybe I can use my credit card and get to the store in time. I flew down Sunrise as fast as I could to find the parking lights dimly lit, pulled by Best Buy which was the closest first, they were closed. The management shrugging his shoulders. Behind the glass, not caring about my story as I yelled through the glass. I slowly walked in the rain back to the car with my head down, and there I saw the bright LEDs of the PC Richard sign in the distance. I jumped in my car and sped into the parking lot. Running to the door I saw someone locking the door to close. Stop! I screamed helplessly, and he did. The young man ushered me into the store like I was his best friend, eager to hear about my night, my terrible night actually. He decided to help me in anyway he could, grabbing a new Nest camera to monitor my baby, and finding the best humidifier they had. But there was still one big problem. No money. My check still had not cleared, and after trying 2 other cards, I truly felt helpless. Hang on, the young man said. I think his name was Claud to be exact. I saw him whispering to his co workers, then they were reaching in their pockets. Next thing I knew Claud and his co workers were actually purchasing the stuff I needed to take care of my son, for no good reason but to help a loyal customer, and what he called "Another family member". I could not believe the love I was given, and it truly represents what this store stands for. Providing great customer service, great prices, upholding the integrity of the PC Richard vision dating back to those old vintage pictures you see hanging in their stores. The next day I returned the money, and they all thanked me, not expecting me to return the money, but I did, and Ive not shipped at another electronics retailer again.

The purchase experience was excellent. My wife and I spent 26000.00 on new high end appliances. they held them until we needed them. we worked out all the details on the delivery and installation. The washer and dryer install was simple. that was the first truck. the other truck was to deliver our thermador range and refrigerator and microwave . they came and wanted to drop them in our garage and come back the next day to install. it was all down hill from there on hooking up the range. they did not have the right fittings for the gas, nor did they use teflon tape. it was a 220 electric hookup as well. my electrician did the hook up as he said "they did not seem to want to do the right thing and with gas and electric I was very concerned about them improperly hooking things up right" ". when I called the manager to get a refund he wanted to argue with me. I got additional facts and called back. he continued to argue with me... in the middle of all this he says "your getting your money back". by this point it wasnt about the money. either way he was a jerk. very poor customer service skill set. he knew all along he was giving me a refund but argued with me the whole way....... if you have high end appliances have your own people do installation. they did not meet the expectation they set.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in June, 2014 from P.C Richard and Son. In November, 2014 the refrigerator started malfunctioning. The refrigerator temperature was uncontrollable and froze everything. Next, the ice machine and water filter ceased to work (i.e. the water lines were frozen). I called the service department and they sent a technician to do a diagnostic check and order parts to fix the necessary parts. The parts were replaced and nothing changed. The fridge remained broken, a frozen icebox. I called again. A new technician came, did a diagnostic check and replaced the same parts. The fridge remained broken. I called again and called Frigidaire, because the refrigerator is still under warranty. A Frigidaire technician was scheduled to come with a P.C. Richard and Son technician for a third diagnostic check. The Frigidaire technician cancelled and the P.C. Richard and Son technician said that the previous technicians made an improper diagnosis. Long story short, there have been five appointments between diagnostics and service with no success. I would like to know when they will replace this refrigerator. It does not seem as though they intend to because it is a new story every time.

I walked into this location on black friday weekend. I was looking to buy a new gaming system to entertain me for the upcoming winter. I usually og to Best Buy, but I wanted to see what PC Richards had. When I walked into the store I was welcomed by a very friendly salesman who went by "John Q". I was unsure of if I wanted to go with the Playstation 4 or the Xbox One S. John explained to me the differences and helped me decide to go with the Xbox. There was a great bundle deal that included the Xbox One S, a controller and the battle field game. John mentioned how the newer system was able to be used on 4k televisions for higher definition. Wanting to get the most out of my gaming experience I asked him if they were having any deals on them. He was more than happy to explain to me all the different options of the 4k televisons the company had to offer. I decided to go with the Haier model. Overall the experience was outstanding! John was very knowledgeable and helped me get everything I needed plus more. Will definitely recommend and be a returning customer.

In Aug.my husband & I went to PCRichard to purchase a washer & dryer..James Shutman helped us.. He was very friendly and pleasant..because our laundry room is small we had to be careful to make sure they fit . We made several trips home to measure & remeasure..James was very understanding & moved washers & dryers so that we could get the exact measurements from back to front of each appliance..Today 11/15/14, we went back to PCRichard to purchase a refrigerator..We looked for James because he made our experience in Aug. very pleasant, we wanted to deal with him again..We purchased a refrigerator & before we left the store I wanted to look at it one more time..Glad that I did because I saw something that I liked better..I apoligized to James because he did the paper work..He was very understanding & said it wasnt a problem. surely I would go back to PCRichard should I need other appliances..& as I did today,Look for Mr. Shutman to help us.. let me say one more thing"James is the perfect Gentleman "...Pauline G.
