Well, first of all let me just mention that ive purchased from this target 3 times (yes 3 times and I am giving it one star) continue to read if you would like to know why I rated this target 1 star. At first I was highly excited that there was now a Target in Tribeca. I am a huge makeup lover ( I am a makeup enthusiast) and I absolutely love the makeup isles. I love to roam the makeup isles discovering new makeup products figuring out which products I am going to buy. Today, I went in target & was shopping for my mother buying her some makeup she told me she wanted for Mothers day. I had just gotten there so here I am trying to do a nice thing. Im looking for my moms foundation color where the loreal True match foundation is and behind me is a security guard pretending to stock up makeup? I was not aware that the securities job was to also stock in the makeup isle.... (Yes he was following me to see if I was stealing when I was not! this was my 3rd time there and every single time I pay) and then I was in the bag section to get a gift bag so I could give my mom her gift and there he was again! what is the coincidence?.. It made me feel very uncomfortable because if you see I have the items and I am not hiding anything why do I continue to be followed? and trust me if the items were not for my mom I would have left everything there and left Target. Now, let me speak about the line. It is very unorganized and the workers purchase items there (which is no problem) however, when they are done paying they continue on amongst each other with their conversations and they hold up the line. Which I have to say is very annoying because there is an open register. However, the customer is not able to go to the counter and have their items rung up by the cashier because they are still holding their conversation amongst each other. Also, this target has more food rather than house hold items.. I was a little disappointed because I go to other Targets and they have a whole lot more and they are only one floor LOL! this one has two floors and just doesnt have a lot.. Well, I will not be entering this Target ever again due to my experience today. Its very rude for the security to be following people around when nothing shady is happening. We are customers and should not be treated that way unless someone was seen putting something in their pocket or hiding something. (Also, do not just accuse someone of stealing roll back the cameras that is why you have them DUH because you may just be accusing someone innocent and youll lose a lot more customers) JUST AN FYI TO THE PERSON WHO MANAGES THIS TARGET. Please do a better job because Im one customer you just lost :).

Yes! A Target in Tribeca! This location is still brand spankin new - so new, in fact, that I actually placed my hand gingerly on the escalator handrail as I descended into the lower level :) When you first walk in the store, there are 2 security guards and a few registers on your right. On your left is a small womens section of clothing. Straight ahead is a small section of Household items and further to your right is a Chobani shop where you can get their products mixed in with popular options like breakfast bowls. On the lower floor, they have (mostly) every department a normal sized Target would have - just extremely limited. Do they have comforter sets? Yes, but only 5 varieties. Totally fine if youre a) not picky or b) its an emergency. Its a great place for toiletries, though. All of the usual makeup brands, hair products, bathroom products, etc. They also have a reasonably sized grocery section, including refrigerated and frozen items!

Sorry just not a fan of this Target Express or of the concept overall. The horrible concrete floors and concrete walls give the impression of a store thats unfinished. This store has a weird subterranean feel. I think Target is trying a bit too hard with the Target Express idea. While concrete floors and exposed concrete walls may seem hip or chic to lure millennials, they miss the point of why shoppers like Target. While I agree that some of the larger surburban stores, with their super cool shiny white floors, might seem pristine or even sterile, they help convey the true message and feel of what shopping at a Target should be, that of an upscale discounter. Theres no upscale feeling here, unless you like shopping in a basement. The only thing missing would be some exposed pipes or maybe even some wires.

When I heard target was opening a new store in Tribeca, I thought why would they make that decision with whole foods across the street. But as I entered the store I noticed the unique design, chibani on the first giving you an healthier choice over target cafe or pizza hut. Most of the shopping experience is on the second floor but what caught my eye is the unique open exposed ceiling and stone floor design. Short lines and a very friendly staff, not a lot of choices compared to a regular sized target but it does cater to the area, in all great experience friendly staff lots of self check out and they do price match.

I went to the specifically for two items which were said to be in stock. After searching the area, I was assisted by a salesperson. He was very nice and offered to check the back room to see if they were there. After waiting 20 minutes, yes...20, it turns out that they did not have them in stock and someone was supposed to change the information. When I asked who is in charge of this, he didnt know. I used my entire lunch hour to get these items to which they never existed in their stock. Thoroughly annoyed.

What can I say - a Target is Target is love! This store however is definitely on the smaller end, so even though they have practically every department represented, youll find a smaller selection than at other stores. And wherever possible, the Target brand will be present before any other brands. Not that thats a bad thing but, its good to be aware. Its great for small daily item shopping and clothes of course, but for full scale grocery shopping Id recommend a bigger store (like the one in Brooklyn).

Has a Chobani Store as their food court ... They really have horrible help. Asked the manager for restocking of a particular Apple Cider they were out of and still has not been replenished. Gave up after the second time. Apple Watch I purchased here I returned because the person who sold it to me was too busy playing with her phone. Asked about a watch ⌚️ she said that was is not really in stock. Thanks. If it wasnt for the convenience factor and pricing vs the Whole Foods across the street I would avoid.

Its amazing that they can fit an almost full Target in the middle of downtown Manhattan, but here we are, in 2017, living out our wildest dreams. 2017 has been declared the year that Target takes over Manhattan and I could not be more thrilled. Its a Target Express (or whatever they call it) so its a bit smaller but has everything you could need. Think of your normal Target and then cut the selection of each category by 1/5, and you have the TriBeCa Target! Still great cant complain its a Target
