This is the LAST straw with this Sephora! I AM NEVER GOING TO SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN!!! The customer service at this particular branch is deplorable! I just called to check on the availability of a product that unfortunately Ulta does not carry, and received the BIGGEST attitude from the employee who took the call. Of course they did not have the what I was looking for, but as I was thanking her for checking for me she just hung up the phone on me right in the middle of my sentence! This is NOT the first BAD experience Ive had at this store with these girls, and their attitudes either. The only time any employee bothers approaching me is when Im doing "something wrong", like opening a non sealed box containing a product before purchasing it just to be certain that whatever is in that box is indeed what I am bringing home. Ive purchased items before from there, and when I opened them when I returned home they were either the wrong item completely, the wrong color, or were used. Then they would have the nerve to give me an attitude when I brought the products back, and on a few occasions declined the return because of why I was bringing them back! They generally will come up to me, and in one particular instance about a few years ago, a very manly looking woman actually yelled at me, as if I was stealing from them, "What are you doing?", than proceed scolding me like a child by saying, "You cant just open a product! That is why we have testers here!" (Which there hardly ever are). This incident stopped me from going there for a while, but when I returned the attitudes of the employees remained the same. They are also very stingy with their samples too. So much so, that the one time this one girl actually snapped at me because after she gave me a sample of something another employee had asked me if I wanted another sample, and I said yes. Instead of saying, "Oh Im so sorry sweetie, but we are not allowed to give 2 samples of the same product at a time.", she turned to me, and said, "I just gave you a sample of that! You cant have another one!", than rolled her eyes to her coworker as if I were trying to get over on them, and said, "She cant have another one! I just gave her one!". Slowly I started bringing my business to Ulta who has just about everything Sephora has, and even more! There I receive a friendly "Hello!" every time I walk through their doors, am constantly asked if I need help, and actually treated like a human being. My advice to anyone looking for higher end makeups or skincare products from personal experience is to either go to Ulta, or drive one hour down to the Sephora in Rockland County at the Nanuet Mall. There is also one located at the Palisades Center. Either that or order online!

Let me start with the positive, the sales associates are always so helpful and after witnessing how I saw the manager treat them I am amazed how they are able to keep a smile on their faces. I was in the store Monday March 27 in the afternoon and the manager (I believe her name is Sharon, she has blonde hair and is very tall) was yelling at an employee in front of myself and every other customer that was in the store at the time. I felt so bad for the pretty young Asian girl (I dont know her name but I do know her Grandma is sick, as this was something she was responding with while being verbally abused by her manager). While in the store I heard the manager yell at her for at least 25 minutes. Not only was I mortified for the poor girl being yelled at but also the fact that her business was being broadcasted to an entire store of strangers. She was screamed at for taking off a day to visit her Grandmother who is dying in the hospital and then I over heard that she was sent home from work on Sunday because she was throwing up.After the manager was done ripping the poor girl to pieces she asked her if she had anything to say for herself. She responded with the fact that she didnt ask to leave when she was sick that she was sent home by the manager working because she was throwing up and the manager didnt want to risk her getting anyone sick. Personally, I am THANKFUL she was sent home I wouldnt want someone sick doing my makeup and being that close to me if they are throwing up. I ended up leaving because I needed help and was intimidated and distraught after listening to what this woman had done to her employee. I typically wouldnt write something like this but I feel it is something that needs to be mentioned. I shop in the store quite often and this is NOT the first time I have over heard her degrading her employees but this was by far the worst. I think you all need to be aware of the type of person you have running your store as from what I have seen in my many times shopping that she does not treat her employees well. The poor girls there are probably too scared to even say anything so I hope my voice is heard for them and that something is done!!

Went looking for some new brow products left with yet another horrible experience at my local Sephora I went to check out and a fairly new employee couldnt have been anymore disrespectful I had a return off the bat I could tell this girl wasnt liking that mind you I also had a nice size new purchase after her nasty attitude and while ringing me up I asked for two free samples of products I would like to try she totally ignored my words as if I wasnt standing right in front of her and put my recept in my bag and thought that was a wrap I guess so I so patiently waited for the other associate to finish and asked her for my samples which she got right away this girl happened to be a new face as well let me say out of all the girls that work in Sephora that Jamie gets a huge thumbs up she did her job was helpful pleasant and new her makeup to bad the rest of the staff makes going to this Sephora a trip taken only if in dire need of something it is not my go around there and I have gone to plenty other Sephora s not once was I ever made to feel as if I didnt exist or perhaps was a bother I do not recommend our local Sephora to anyone over high school age they dont seem to be nasty to the younger girls I agree with all prior post before mine if you do go venture into witch land I hope you are lucky and get Jamie

My mother and I went to this Sephora today to buy a few new beauty supplies. Ive never had a problem with any other Sephora; however, our experience today has changed our view of JCP and Sephora and makes us never want to come back. When we got up to the counter, we were immediately greeted with an extremely unpleasant cashier, Dana. I have never been so offended in my life at her attitude and outright rudeness. She gave my mother the total, my mother swiped her card, and out of confusion asked "oh, did I swipe it correctly?". Dana nastily responded, "How about you give it a minute, okay?". When my mother asked her if she had done something to deserve the awful attitude that was being directed at her, Dana simply continued to degrade her with her nasty looks and attitude. I had to walk away out of anger just from looking at my mothers hurt facial expression. My mother was devastated about the experience, which makes me never want to return to a JCP/Sephora if they allow their employees to treat their customers that way for absolutely no reason. Disgusting. So if you happen to pop into Sephora, feel free to give "Dana" the biggest attitude you can for me and my mother :) Or just avoid this Sephora at all costs for your own sanity!!!
