I got my sweet dress there a year ago and it was absolutely gorgeous the people there were super nice. But went back to get my junior prom dress for this year I found a dress I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. We ordered it and couldnt wait to get it. Once the dress came in 1. It didnt fit right and 2. The dress was ripped and stones were off of it. So the owner said he would order a new one for me and it would be fine there. Me and my mom went back they gave me the same dress just cut pieces out of it to fix the broken parts and the tears are still there. The owner was horrible and lied to my mother straight in the face saying that he supposedly "ordered a new one". Also made us pay for the dress which was not up to the standards a new dress would be. Horrible owner but very nice workers. Wouldnt recommend to anyone to go there though. Horrible costumer survice and a lying owner. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK THERE AGAIN! I recommend you go to Coco Chateau in Woodland Park!

TERRIBLE. The owner is something else. Ordered a gorgeous dress that came damaged on the back, so one of the girls says the seamstress will fix it. I come back about a week later (far trip for me) and I try on the dress to find that its exactly the same. I showed them pictures and everything and they completely lied to mine and my mothers faces, saying that the dress was fixed. I started telling them that I wanted to return the dress because I would have to spend more money somewhere else to get the dress fixed and they refused. The owner started literally yelling at us to get out and that we are liars... Big man there yelling at two ladies. Do not shop here... I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I think that all the people that had a bad experience there should do the same. That awful owner shouldnt be able to get away with the robbery that hes getting away with. Hes ruining peoples proms and formal outings and profiting off of it.

Absolute worst place Ive ever shopped in. Well first, I order a beautiful prom dress worth lots of money, the manager tells me I need a size 8 and it comes in way to small..so I get alterations done worth again a lot of money they say the dress will be done by May 4th..then call and say the alterations are going to take longer than planned, so I ask to talk to the owner because he said they would be done on time. He starts screaming at me on the phone. I come in when they say too, alterations are so horrible. Dress is even tighter than before and didnt even fix the front that needed to be altered. The alterations were done so bad that I had to get a whole new dress. Thank god they gave me my money back for the dress and the alterations. Lesson learned I will never shop there again, mean owner and employees that dont know what there talking about.

We first went to Chic Boutique last year to find a dress for our daughters sweet 16. Cris was very helpful in choosing the perfect dress. She was very accomodating and didnt rush us at all. She took time in showing us accessories and shoes too. My husband and my daughter went back there again last month to look for her very first prom dress (although she is still a sophomore) this time and luckily, Cris was there to help them out (I was working so I couldnt be there to help choose). Again, Cris was very helpful in finding the perfect dress for our daughter. Our daughter was very happy with the dress and everybody complimented her dress on prom day. I highly recommend this store for excellent customer service especially Cris. Thank you Chic boutique for being a part of our daughters special moments.

Only reason why Im giving 3 stars instead of 5 because the Sonny the owner of the store was soooooo horrible at customer service I was completely turned off! If it wasnt for Yessica I wouldnt recommend this store. Im a bride that wanted 8 bridesmaid dresses and instead of giving us a discount he was so rude he didnt budge for anything Yessica had to beg him and got us a discount! Another thing was my wedding was March 25 and he said I would get my dresses February 20, my dresses didnt come until March 10!!! And he still had the nerve to want to charge me for ""express"" shipping when my dresses didnt come on time. Sonny is a horrible manager and horrible at customer service however YESSICA was the best and I would recommend if you go to the store go to her and only her she was amazing!!!!

Best dress places from West Nyack to Bronx!!!! From Style to Customer Service, could not ask for better service!! truly felt like family!!! Thank you for making My daughter, My Niece, and my friends two daughter a night to remember!!!! Cris was the Representative that helped us!! four girls with many ideas, no once did she lose her temper; she helped us from picking, trying on dress, to working on our budget. Sonny thank you for helping making this dream come true!! once i seen my daughter in the dress i knew she was not going to take it off, and i almost cried when i seen that it was over our price range, but here come Sonny to save the Day!!!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I would not send my worst enemy to this retailer. My daughter bought her prom dress there (Palisades location) on March 12th, we were told delivery by March 31st. When we called on March 25th, they told us the dress was shipped and would be in the store by March 31 as planned. When we called on April 1st to schedule pickup, the dress was "cancelled". They claim "the designer" cancelled the dress, and also tried to force us to return there to use store credit to purchase another dress from them. Had to fight to get a refund. We are now two weeks away from prom with NO dress thanks to them.

If there was an option for negative starts, thats what it wouldve been. We went here to get my sister a dress for senior prom, the dresses in the store were gorgeous, however up close most had tares up and down the dresses, missing stones or loose threads. Not only that the service was horrible. The sales lady was rude, nasty, and not one bit helpful it was as if she has her own things to do then help customers spend their money in the store. Being the oldest of 3 girls and many functions needing a dress we will NEVER be returning to this store.

I went into Chic Boutique with the intention of buying both a prom dress and a bridesmaid dress. Their selection of dresses for either occasion is extensive and beautiful. During my first visit, Cris helped me find the perfect dresses of both occasions in addition to helping my sister find another dress for the same wedding. when i returned to pick up my dresses, Yessica was extremely helpful, and Sonny was very kind and personable, in addition to providing us with a great experience and very reasonable prices!

My friend and I went shopping at Chic Boutique and we tried some dresses on and an employee told us to get out of the store. We were looking for prom dresses and we asked about sizes and colors and prices and we were completely disrespected. How can you throw customers out who just have a few questions before spending a decent amount of money on a dress. I have never been more disrespected in a store or in public in my life. I will never go back there again and I do not recommend anyone going in to this store.
